For those who are there, how is land/MFSR access now that ROTR is open? I only had Olga’s to access the land, but may drop it if we can still get to into the land and on the Falcon without it. DH and I will go early for a BG but the others just want to see the land and ride the Falcon.

I was there this afternoon. Arrived at 4pm, the park didn't seem extra crowded, the land itself was a bit more crowded, but not shoulder to shoulder
There is no need for a vq for the land, you only need it for rotr

Can you request more than one boarding group for the day? Like if you got a boarding group for early afternoon and then also wanted to come back at park closing would that be possible? You don’t need a boarding group at RD right?

You can only have one active boarding group. Once you use it you can get another, a few of us rode several times. And you do need one for rope drop. Nobody rides without one basically, excluding World of Dreams tour.

We’ve been given a FP and a park ticket. Completely unexpected as we have 14 day hoppers and we did ride today. Will not be using the FP on ROTR tomorrow as I want to give others a chance to ride.

Just to let you know that we were the next people in line to ride this morning when it went down and we weren’t allowed to cut the entire line. We had to queue again with everyone else.

Exactly what GS told us 10 min ago.

we already see the 1 day PH in our MDE. We have APHs. They are valid thru 2030 and can be assigned to whomever we choose. Will be nice to gift to family traveling with us in the future

It’s not like you think it is. You won’t really be cutting people off. The FP+ will just let you into whatever boarding groups are being loaded.

Around 8:30am this morning for my 133 BG. So they made it to 127 with 3 separate closures.

I want everyone to know they weren't near the full hourly capacity they can run at today. So hopefully as the days go on things get better. Don't get discouraged but also don't be surprised. Get there as early as you can to join the boarding groups as long as they are in affect.

An interesting new touring strategy: No matter where you’re headed, make a stop in DHS to join a late enough boarding group and hope for a good chunk of down time. Don’t make it on, start stock piling one day tickets for future trips.

I want everyone to know they weren't near the full hourly capacity they can run at today. So hopefully as the days go on things get better. Don't get discouraged but also don't be surprised. Get there as early as you can to join the boarding groups as long as they are in affect.

This is a great point and something I forgot to mention! We were on the left boarding group and when our ride vehicle left the right hand vehicles that left with us were empty. So they obviously weren't filling it up at around 9am this morning.

Any sense moving forward on what time they will open the VQ to boarding group assignment relative to park open? We are going tomorrow and we’re planning to get there 1 hr before open, so 8 am. I understand why the opened the VQ so early on opening day to manage the crowds. But would hate to get there at 6 only to find that the VQ didn’t open until 8. Thoughts?

All things considered, seems like a success of a day. And not to totally compare to Hagrid's but seems like despite some issues, more successful opening day

Well if they TRULY patch the supposed issue and you aren’t able to VQ until you actually tap into the park you’ll want to get there early or you’ll be behind everybody else who arrived at the entrance before you. I don’t think anybody can give you a qualified answer to this question so I would plan to get there early. There’s been no official communication on this so don’t risk it!

(And who really knows if the intent is to only join a BG once you’ve tapped into the park or not...we are just too early at this point to give good advice. Things could change completely tomorrow)
