Any guesses or confirmation on how it will effect DAS users? Specifically,

*will DAS return times will be available for ROTR?

*would you need to present yourself at RoTR or would the umbrella GS CMs be able to provide a return time?

If one elects to & is able to actually purchase the LL Option for this attraction, could they also be able to receive a DAS return time for a 2nd go-thru?

worrisome, IMO. A large portion of those using DAS wouldn’t be able to do a running of the bulls to reach a standby line. Do think the stand by time may (at least initially) fill up very quickly. At least in the past, the VQ option gave you two chances to attempt to secure a boarding time, then use the DAS option. :headache:

At least we don’t have long to wait for answers. popcorn::

If Lightning Lane is operational at this time too, then I expect that there will be a longer wait in that queue as well. When we were there a month ago, the FP+ queue was pretty empty, since there was no FP+. Now it will be full of guests who can/are willing to pay a premium to get on faster, and DAS users, and Rider Swap and probably VIP tours as well.

I had heard that boarding groups have routinely been available into the mid- or later afternoons, so I'm not surprised at the change to a regular queue. With regards to DAS, I expect it will work the same as any other ride -- think 7DMT at MK. Return times should be available at the ride or the blue umbrellas. Once Genie+ rolls out, a guest should be able to schedule a Genie+ and/or IAS and also hold a DAS return-time, just like in the past with FP+ and DAS. As for how crowded the Lightning Lane will be -- I expect it to be similar to the FP queue pre-covid, if a large group or a lot of people arrive at the same time it will be a longer wait than if you happen to enter ahead of such a group.

The demand was temporarily low due to lower park attendence before the crowds arrive for the 50th, plus the normal dip as school resumes. I will be at Studios 9/27 and will see how it goes. We cannot get to Rise quickly at rope drop, pushing my son in his manual WC. So we will get a many hours later return time, and do standby where we can after that, maybe see some shows.
