With Rosie not being on The View anymore I have no desire to even watch the show. I was on Ross the interns blog and he said he will be on The View June 5th. I really like him, and think he is so funny. He said on his blog that he just loves Rosie. I bet he is very disappointed that she will not be there. I might just tune in to see him.

MODS: The title of this thread is ROSIE'S GONE. It's been 43 posts since the name ROSIE was even mentioned. It seems to have taken a life of it's own and probably deserves it's own thread maybe?

The OP is the one who should decide that. Many threads become monster threads. I started a Tag Fairy thread that has turned into a chat room. It's nice it is still around.

I wasn't going to post but I just have to question this statement. Why does anyone think that there were minor fires in 7WTC? There was a large amount of fuel in the basement since it was the Emergency Command center for the city.
Also, for those that were not there that day in person, and did not see 7WTC in person, I will verify that at about 3 p.m. the building was leaning. I was on a ferry boat being evacuated from the city. The boat was in the middle of the river waiting for a slip to pull into in Jersey City. Sorry folks but that building was seriously leaning. I spent about 10 years working at the WTC, for the last 2 of it in 7WTC. The buildings were all extremely close to each other. 2 large 100+ story buildings fell down. Doesn't anyone think that it can loosen the footings of any building?? It could be felt in NJ, why wouldn't this damage a building foundation right next to it?

Oh and if my memory serves correctly, the FBI was headquartered in 6WTC, not 7. Do I honestly believe that we know everything that happened that day? No. Do I honestly believe that our federal government orchestrated this attack? Heck no!!
I'm done now. I'll go back to my own memories and let the conspiracy theorists have a field day.

Well then let's SHOW them we support them; they believe in why they are there. We should show them we believe in it too. We don't have to agree with the reasons for going in the first place, but we should support them for their beliefs and sacrifices for being there. I'd be curious to know what the soldiers think of Rosie and views.

My guess is the dont hate her, alot of soldiers will tell you off the record they dont want to be in iraq for the third and fourth time for a war going nowhere. Rosie donated ONE MILLION dollars to the new VA hosital for soldiers that have lost limbs in the war. She has spend time and money , her personal money and time on these soldiers and there families offering monitary as well as an ear to them. There you have it talking about Rosie again on the ROsie is gone thread.

What this whole war is for (OIL), and that alone discredits my entire posts. What are we in Iraq for? You can’t really believe its terrorism we are fighting – do you? Baby Bush went from WOMD to Democracy for the Iraq People (which is impossible because their way of life is based off 'their view' -often misguided view- of theocracy) - to what now? What's the focus today? FYI, I’ve read the Quran and this killing in Gods name is NOT of Islam. The average person can't tell you why we are in Iraq. Seriously, are we really fighting terrorism in Iraq or crazy num nuts eager to die (as long as they get you too - or your sons, daughters, nieces, nephews, etc.) How many have to be killed over NOTHING! Its time to come home with proper health care and needed counseling. I have a cousin there, I’d like to see him come home soon, and NOT serve there for the 4th time. Since his first deployment, he had to bury both is mother and grandmother, and had to go back BEFORE he could even bury his mother (The burial was the next day). He had to leave the evening of his mothers’ funeral.

My cousin didn't come home.

He fully embraced his work over there as did his family.

Fighting terrorism and re-building a country destroyed by terrorist-supporting Saddam and terrorists themselves is NOT nothing.

My deepest condolances for your cousin and what he did for his country. I will keep him in my prayers tonight and always. There are many that appreciate his ultimate scarifice and yours as a family member. I feel far too often the FAMILIES of the troops should recieve recognition for sheer torment they live through with loved ones overseas and the very real possibility, in your case probability that there loved ones will never return.
