This is for the poster who wanted to see Thursdays Show. I thought it was pretty funny how Kathy Giffin kept bringing up the "fight" I also think that Barbara and Joy were getting a "little" mad at Kathy towards the end of the show for bringing it up so much.

I don't believe Joy is married
I do not find Joy is as liberal at Rosie, nor do I find that most of the time she is any where as mean, loud or obnoxious. I do find her jabs at President Bush are often annoying and over the top. Other than that, I do not find her anywhere near Rosie on any level.

Stop trying to make this about Rosie's sexual orientation. Other than one post that got delete, not one person that dislikes Rosie (on this thread) cares about her sexual orientation.
However it seems that several of her supporters believe that her being gay gives her a pass on being a rude, mean, obnoxious jerk

I dont know many jerks that spend there time trying to make kids and wounded troops feel better about themselves emotionally and financially, with money from there pockets. Just cause one does not agree with you , that does not make them a jerk. Just because one may be loud and lack some social graces, does not make them a jerk. Just because someone will not sit in the corner and mind there manners to those that think they are better and smarter, does not make them a jerk. You can disagee with her politics, you can not like her for whatever reason but the woman is not a jerk.

Just went to the View website and noticed that Rosie is still there in pictures. When Star "left" the show they removed her right away!!!

I agree! Its always about Rosie and Rosies life; Kelly, kids, and Kellys southern mom. If I were her "mother in law" I would be furious the way she talks about her on the show. I think that is VERY disrepectful !! I am thrilled she is gone and think Elizabeth was wonderful in standing up to her. I did feel bad for Sherry and Joy, how uncomfortable was that!!

Dont feel bad for Joy she baited and started the entire confrontation. Rosie was upset her friend didnt stand up for her, that was pure hurt comming out,you could see it.

Same with Ann what's her face. There's some guy DH liks to listen to that I don't like either.
I did like Rush un untilv 4-5 yrs ago or so

I do like Bill O'Riley most of the time (but he does go over the top on occasion). Also local guy named Kim Peterson, who I actually haven't listened to in a while because I'm never in the car when he is on now, if he is still on.

No need to debate or argue the do you not cut rosie any slack cause of her sexual orientation issue. Everyone knows for themselves, in there hearts why they may be bias toward Rosie for reasons other than she is opinionated. Thats never going to be settled with the silly back and forths going on in this thread cause unless your a screaming bigot you will never admit if you are bias toward her for those reasons and will always have a million good reasons to try to defend you bias and make yourself feel better if you are.

Rosie is a opinionated woman with a big mouth, thats the truth. She is also very charitable and has a heart as big as her mouth. There is no disputing that, her actions are there to see for anybody that cares to look.

Not once, no where, never have I said everyone I like is conservative.
I have been told repeated on this thread that the only reason I don't like Rosie is either because she is gay or because she is liberal.
I was just pointing out that I do not like many/most of her counter parts on the other side.

I am not a staunch conservative republican.
I tend to be middle of the road on many issues, to left on others and to the right on a couple. Politically I'm an independent but I tend to agree more with the libertarian agenda

I now realize that the problem is not mine. Apparently there are some here on the DIS that are guilty of over compensating. Somewhere deep down they think they might be biased against gays or have said something in the past that could be taken that way. Therefore they will defend Rosie to the end. Those are the people who need to look deep into their hearts to see where their bias is

Post was not ment to be condesending in any way shape or form. I am not attacking you just responding to your post. Some of the people you said you enjoy watching listening to and self admittedly agree with are extreamly conservative in there views. I dont get how that is condisending? In fact I dont get your response to me at all. There is no need to be upset and react the way you just did. You dont like rosie , you think shes a jerk, thats cool and your right. There is nothing middle of the road about ann coulter or bill O or any of there views. When you say there names and that you "might often agree with " those personalities what do you expect?

So aparently anybody that may disagree with your views and expresses them is just like rosie? If somebody dare to call you on an opinion they are condesending and mean spirited?

The fact that you have realized the problem is not yours is scarey, there is no problem here mearly diffrences of opinion. There is no blaime to lay or finger to point just people trying to make other people see there points of view.

We should all be here learning from each other, not ripping each other apart. I am defending a person that I think is getting a raw deal and does not deserve it, that has shown themselves to be charitable and very human. Im not sure what your defending.

DH spent almost 21 yrs in the AF (14 yrs of that in the AFR).
I was actually called a liar here on the DIS when I said that DH would have just as easily put his life on the line for Clinton as he would for Bush if ever put in that position. It was/is his duty to protect the office/position not the person. Neither would he disgrace his uniform or the office of president by doing some of the things that have been done by those in uniform to both Clinton, Bush or any other president as a form of protest (IE the group of cadets or what ever it was that turned their backs on one of the presidents during a speech)

I do not think Rosie is crazy in fact I find it very refreshing that she will air concerns and different sides of situations that the mainstream media never touches on. I do not think she is that far left either. But then again this is coming from an ultra liberal Lesbian...maybe I am nuts too then?

I honestly think the american public is just so used to loud mouths on the conservative side that they get thrown off by a liberal one. And when they get thrown off they get angry and louder.

I am constantly amused that people like Bill Maher, Keith Olbermann, and Al Franken are raked through the coals for their "liberal" views. Meanwhile Rush and Bill O'Reilly have these huge loud fan bases that scream "liberal" every time they're called on their crap!
