I've been looking at their menu and can't decide which one should make reservation for my November trip.

Which do you guys like better and what's your favorite food from either restaurants?

Thank you

I like both. They are different though, but both are very good. When I make dining plans, I generally look at where I will be and choose restaurants that are convenient. If you are planning to snack around the World, Skip R&C. If you are planning an evening in DS, look at Raglan Road as a nice break.

We sometimes plan lunch at R&C because during the SUmmer months we like to Know we have a cool pub to duck into, have a nice glass of wine and relax. So....why not book both, you do not need to ode a full meal, maybe an appetizer and cold drink, and then save your dinner for a Raglan Road.

I agree with @Nancyg56. I have been to both and I like both. I also plan meals in or near where I will be.
If you plan on being in Epcot for dinner definitely book Rose & Crown. If you want to visit DS, Raglan Road is great.
Enjoy

We like both but will give the nod to Rose n Crown.

We prefer R&C. We felt RR was overrated and didn't have a great experience there.

At R&C I enjoy a crock of leek soup and apple and frisée salad. At RR the Don't Call it Chowder was a treat.

What do you guys order from R&C? I never had Scotch Egg and was thinking of trying them. I had Bangers and Nash and Universal in April but wasn't too crazy about it.

I prefer Raglan Road because the menu selection is much larger. I also enjoy watching the Irish step-dancing and live music at Raglan Road.

I've never been to Raglan Road but love Rose and Crown. We aren't fans of the Disney Springs/Downtown Disney area so we avoid it at all costs.

We've been to both and like the food better at RR, but the experience better at R&C, especially if you can get it for Illuminations. I'm gluten free and the offerings at RR were far better (GF fish and chips/onion rings were so good my gluten eating family kept stealing my onion rings). If you can, get a reservation for both.

We loved both. R and C was a lot quieter (outside, anyway), so atmosphere might be a way to decide- do you want fun and boisterous or calm?

At R and C I had the scotch egg (I love scotch eggs and they're hard to come by), the fish and steak and the no-sugar added chiffon cake. All were excellent. The rest of the family enjoyed their food too.

I'll cut and past our RR food from the trip report I sent my mom.

"Boy and HusbandMan went for shepard’s pie and fish and chips. Cupcake had their version of mini corn dogs which were nice little battered sausages. For once she ate most of the protein but was not wild about the breading. I had a lobster club sandwich which I would cheerfully eat again, possibly daily. Boy and I split a wonderful scallop appetizer and I indulged in part of a real dessert full of sugar because I’ve always wanted to try a steamed pudding. Fact: Steamed orange pudding tastes an awful lot like pineapple upside down cake. Fact: Pavlova is a mouthful of pure sugar and a meringue doesn’t really need to be the size of Cupcake's head."

@Baklava. Thank you for mentioning fish and steak at R&C. When we were in WDW in April, we did CS so this time when we go, we are hitting TS everyday but wanted to try foods we don't normally get in Los Angeles.

Since we are paying by cc this time, I want to order appetizer and one meal to share with my son. Since he doesn't like fish, he can eat the steak and I can eat the fish and we can share scotch egg! :)

The food at R&C, IMO, is better.
The dessert at Raglan, specifically the bread pudding, is better.

You can't go wrong with either place. I will say - R&C has more of a Disney feel. Now that DS has turned into more of a shopping and weekend spot for locals, it brings in much larger crowds and a lot more locals rather than tourists. It's not really a bad thing—it's just changed the atmosphere a bit. At R&C, you're staying more in the Disney realm.

Been to both and it depends on where we are at. Both are pretty good. We do R&C on one of our Epcot days and make the reservation for around 7:45-8 pm since there is a slight chance we get a patio seat for Illuminations (it's happened our last 4 trips.) RR is our "go-to" in DS and we go there the day we fly home. The Scotch Egg at R&C is amazing though. The Daulky Duo at RR is pretty good too.
