Rose and Crown or Pub?

I made PS for Rose and Crown to watch Illuminations. Now I see two different menus for the R&C and the Pub. The difference seems to be the Pub serves alcohol. Now I was planning to drag out dinner, if I had to, with some English beer (er, ale) so I could taste it and watch the show at the same time.
Two questions-
Do they serve alcohol outside-I'm assuming it's not the Pub?
Do they serve it the traditional English way or chilled? I don't care either way, but DBF doesn't understand why I like it warm.

I thought I read here, recently, that the pub is currently closed for remodeling. Hopefully someone will chime in, and can provide details regarding how long it will be closed.

Yes, the pub is closed for renovations. But I believe it will be opened again by the 4th of July. I may be wrong though.

Yes, you can get beer served if you're eating dinner on the patio. DH & I did exactly what you have in mind when we celebrated our anniversary at WDW 2 years ago. DH had the beer sampler. I don't know if it was served warm, since I didn't have any...I'm more of a wine person.

No, the beer is not served warm. It is chilled just right.

Actaully, the English reallly don't serve their beer "warm" it is just not as cold as our's typically is. You don't want or need to serve good beer very cold - it depletes the taste.

Hello
Teh pub portion is closed for renovations, but the restuarant is open we were jsut there on 5/23. I have seen illuminations from the patio and it is great but it is hit or miss. They will not guarantee a table on the patio you can ask but no promises.

They do serve beer in the dining room, but here is a tip. If the pub is open when you are there, get a brew in a souvenier cup. It is a half-yard plastic container, and refills are less expensive than a pint after your initial purchase. I drink A LOT of Guiness while I am there, and this 'saves' me quite a bit of money. Just remember to rinse it out and bring it with you each time you go to EPCOT. Get there for your PS a little early, schmooze your way to a lagoon-side table, then fill your half-yard before dinner :)

Blessings,

PS. The beer is served almost as cold as it is in the states, not 'cool' as in the UK
