Hey, there! My daughter is obsessed with Frozen, we'll be going on that ride about 5 times, I estimate. We need to do it first thing. BUT if we're at ASMo, how do we get to the International Gateway entrance? THANKS!

You could bus to DHS and then either take the friendship boat or Skyliner to the IG. If you take the Skyliner, you must transfer at the CBR Skyliner station. You can also walk between DHS & the IG.

On July 28, we rope-dropped Frozen Ever After from the main entrance and the wait was short. I wouldn't say using the Interational Gateway is critical especially because you aren't exactly set up to get there from All-Star Movies. You can do it, but in my experience, I don't think you need to do it.

Oh! Good to know. Do you think the pain of getting there from All Star outweighs the walking all the way to Norway from entrance?

And, in October, I assume even more people will be using IG to rope drop Ratatouille. So, maybe it won't matter, Frozen will become second-fiddle!

So, we were at Pop Century where we could have used the Skyliner to get to the International Gateway entrance, but we had a rental car and we just wanted to drive to Epcot. People rope-dropping Epcot are drawn to multiple things including Test Track, Soarin', and Frozen Ever After.

And yeah, if you're visiting in October, it might actually be easier to rope drop FEA from the main entrance! We'll see!

Frozen is a 0.5 mile walk from the future world entrance and a 0.6 mile walk from the IG entrance. It's a total wash in terms of walking time.

At rope drop, CMs time the process so that the two lines merge and neither IG nor future world has an advantage.

I would say getting to FEA right now given all the walls in future world is easier from the IG but it's not really that big of a difference time wise for the amount of hassle it would be to get to IG from ASMo. I would do your best to get to your resort bus early and give yourself plenty of time.

If you are at the front of the crowd of IG rope droppers, you do have a bit of an advantage in my experience. We got to FEA before the crowd from the main entrance arrived. IG definitely does not give you an advantage for TT.

Just from some limited experiences, I would think it easier to enter at the front entrance instead of IG. It's easier to take the bus and get right there, the distance to Frozen is similar, and there are usually more ticket lanes open in the front - so you might get through faster. And I had forgotten about Ratatouille - that could really draw way more early folks to the IG entrance. Good luck and enjoy Norway!

We rope dropped Epcot at the end of June from the FW side, waited at the back for most of the people to make their way through towards the TT side of the maze, took our time, stopped for pictures and got to Frozen to only have a 20-25 minute wait. We could have been closer to the front of that side, but needed to stop at Guest Services and use restrooms. We did those things and then stayed out of the way until it cleared out.

I would not go through transportation hoops to get there....too many variables. I would go the most direct route, which is probably the Front entrance. We were there last week and it was very busy. We walked in the park at 11:03, walked with purpose but not rushed to Test Track and rode single rider line. Ride broke down while we were on it, so all got to go through again. My kids spent some time building cars in the exit area. Rode Mission Space Orange (25 minute wait). Walked through Mouse Gears. Got a Joffrey's iced coffee. Headed out to World Showcase, took a few pictures. Stopped and got a Remy's map at the one store. Eventually made it to Frozen. I would guess by that point it was about 1pm. The line looked ridiculous (stretched back into China but we hopped in and it took about 25-30 minutes. IT wasn't bad at all. I don't think you have to be overly concerned with rope dropping it....yes you will have a wait but it won't be hours. Now if FP comes back prior to your trip...might be a whole different ball game.

Veeeeeeery cool!!! Thanks for the info!!

Love to have details like this- helps a lot- thanks!

It seems amazing, but there really isn't much difference going from IG or the main entrance, when you are let in and stopped at SSE.

This. The first time we rode Frozen we were staying at Boardwalk and I remember being excited that we had a shorter walk from the IG and we would get a jump on the main entrance crowds. Wrong. I underestimated the walk - it is not short since it's on the opposite side of World Showcase. As we approached FEA, the masses coming from the main entrance were already pouring in. (This was when the ride was new, so it's not so bad now.)
