Hi all! We will be at a Disney next week and I’m wondering our best DHS rope drop strategy. We are onsite so will arrive in advance if the 30 minute early entry. We want to do most of the rides, including RotR, MMRR and SDD. Obviously we’ll plan to do RotR first, but then should MMRR or SDD be next? In a perfect world we would do RotR then MMRR then SDD so we could follow that up with the rest of Toy Story Land with the least amount of cross cross, but I’m interested in others’ opinions on the best time saving strategy.

Hitting some of these headliners in the evening won’t work for our schedule. TIA!

I hate it when my questions get moved to another thread. I've never heard of theme park plans thread....

I'm thinking you should save Rise for last. You did not mention RnRC or ToT. Both have short lines early. We go there first bc no one else does. Then SDD or MMRR. If you're not interested in thrill rides, I prefer SDD and then MMRR. Most everyone goes to Rise first and you can board 2 or 3 attractions while other guests are waiting for Rise.

Are you watching the wait times on the Disney APP? That may help with your decision. My daughter swears by Molly's plans on YouTube. Search Molly allears.net hollywood. Here is the LINK but this forum is weird about posting links so it may not work. Molly may release a new video soon since Rise no longer has a virtual queue.

Good Luck and have fun!!!!

I forgot to mention if you're on property and plan to rope drop, get to DHS no later than 8am. Be in line ready to tap at 8am.

Thanks! Yes, we are on property. Do hope to do RnRC, not ToT. But RnRC is more of a if we can fit it in thing. I have been obsessively tracking wait times on the app 🤣 Things were looking great for a while then got very busy last few days. Hoping it’s just because of the holiday weekend. Was really hoping to utilize Genie+ to cut out at least some waits but looks like we’ll be there right when the crowds have picked up and right before we have the option to use Lightning Lane!
