rope drop at Epcot

Hi All,
We will be entering through the International Gateway. How does rope drop work from that end?

About ten minutes before they will open security and the turnstiles. The rope will be across the path before you can enter the World Showcase walkway. At 9:00 they let it down and you can only walk through UK and Canada, which are not open yet, to the paths to Futureworld. You can walk the other way to Mexico and Norway but no further. Nothing open there either, it's open jsut because of Norway's princess breakfast.
