I had planned on doing as much of Fantasyland as I could at rope drop, including ETWB. I'm not sure if I should do Peter Pan or ETWB first. I have a FP later in the day for meeting Ariel. Do you think I should change it so my FP is for ETWB and try to see Ariel after rope drop?

TIA!

I would switch out Ariel for ETWB and do PP first.

According to My Disney Experience App, currently Peter Pan is 80 min wait, Enchanted Tales with Belle is 40 min wait, and Under the Sea is 40 in min wait.

I think I would use FP+ for Peter Pan and try to do others at Rope Drop.

The problem with doing ETWB at rope drop is that it takes so long, so you're missing out on doing the rest of Fantasyland at its least busy time of day. I would definitely switch your FP from Ariel to Belle, and save Belle until around lunchtime. Do PP at rope drop. We did this during Spring Break and finished all of Fantasyland before lunch.

Check out easyWDW.com - look for the cheat sheets for each park. Josh has some great (and free) touring plans there. I seem to recall that at one point, he mentioned that his MK morning plan has you arriving to meet Ariel around 10:00 because that's when they open the second room there, so the line gets shorter.

We were just there during Spring Break. I would go right to ETWB after rope drop, then to meet Ariel and FP Peter Pan we easily did 5-6 FL things during the first hour after RD.

After further review, it's a tough call. According to easywdw, "Characters: Unlike the other three Parks, there are characters that need to be prioritized ahead of the most important attractions. If you’d like to visit Enchanted Tales with Belle, Merida,Tinker Bell, or Rapunzel, you need to visit first thing in the morning, in the last hour they’re scheduled to appear, or use FastPass+ (where applicable) to avoid 30 to 75 minute waits."

We prefer rides and will not be using FP+, so our plan is to visit PP then Belle at RD.
