Roozlilone PJ/TR Saying "I Do" Again 7/17/08...Processional & Vows!

Oh, how sweet of your DH to propose again!! And with a ring!?!?!? Huge brownie points! :lovestruc

Can you tell us where you found the personalized unity candle? It is truly beautiful, especially with the girls' names on it as well. What a nice idea. Feel free to PM me if you'd rather, to share the information on where to find one like that. :goodvibes

Go to www.idotaketwo.com and you can purchase it under the unity candle ceremony section, encore wedding unity candle. You can choose between ivory or white and several colors for the lettering. :goodvibes

What a great trip! :lovestruc I had picked out a unity candle just like that, our planner thought a sand ceremony would be better with the ceremony being outside and the kids being young- so that is what we went with-

Our dp is italy west- we watched from there last month- it was great! The location is not tucked away like alot of them but it has just the black iron fence so the kids can see through and a great view- dont know if that is an option!

Stupid disney knowledge- Morrocco doesnt participate in illumination for religious reasons -I wonder if that has something to do with not hearing it very well?! (Just read this somewhere)

That's interesting  I didn't know that...but it makes sense. They have a band playing up until about 10 minutes before illuminations, which I can't stand :headache: my personal taste, I just don't like the music, and the dessert location is right behind the band!

I would LOVE Italy, but when I emailed my Wedding Coordinator, she said my only option was Morocco and Japan. What I don't understand and maybe someone can shed some light on this, but several of the other locations have a minimum of 20, which I have, so why can't I use those locations, especially if I'm willing to spend the money. Is it because I'm not a wishes bride? Just wondering! :confused3

I just had to update my PJ. After much stress and worry, my wedding coordinator came through with some much needed pixie dust pixiedust: I got this email from her this morning saying the UK Upper Terrace had just opened up and she wanted to know if I wanted it instead of Morocco!! Of course I said yes! I love the fact it already has tables and chairs set up, so it actually costs a little less than Morocco.  Gosh, I wish I had taken pics of that site, any pics, anyone? :goodvibes

Hi Jodi!

I hope you're having a great week! :)

I just wanted to let you know that the UK Upper Terrace has just opened up for availability on the 17th. I was keeping my eye out because I know you really wanted someone where besides Morocco so I'm thinking this may solve the problem :)

We usually can't put a smaller group there but if you can guarantee me 20 people I can put you in the UK. The venue rental is $250 (compared to the $200 for Morocco). UK Upper has the existing wrought iron tables and chairs.

Please let me know ASAP if you would like to move :)

Thanks!

Amy :)

Happy Thursday!

Well, my search for shoes has ended! I finally got them & for a STEAL! Long story short (kinda short), I've been looking (on the edge of being a little obsessive and fanatical) and looking  and looking for the PERFECT shoes. I know, I keep asking myself, why are the shoes so important, it's just a VR. I do love shoes, but I'm not crazy about shoes. But I guess, partly because I bought the most gosh darn ugly, cheap shoes for my 1st wedding, I just wanted something really, nice and unique, a shoe I could show off!! Anyways, Joe thought I was nuts, he kept saying, YOU WON'T EVEN SEE THE SHOES!

I was stuck on the designer "Grace," loved them, love them, but not the price, all of the Grace shoes are well over $100 a pair. I found the ones I wanted at a local bridal boutique: Grace Evita, a beautiful open-toe shoe with a danty bow and a little "bling." They were only $159!

Ebay to the rescue....I went home that same day, got on Ebay, NO LIE....a lady was selling a pair of "Grace Evita Shoes, size 8.5, candlelight" for only $40!!! OMG  I felt like I had hit the jackpot. Got them in the mail yesterday & they fit like a glove! :woohoo:

I just caught up on your PJ and WOW. You look gorgeous in your dress (def. with straps, IMHO), and your daughters are beautiful in their princess gowns. From your PJ so far, it seems like you are very, very lucky too (yay for upgrades!). I can't wait until the next installment!

Wow I can't believe how well that worked out for you, getting your shoes on E-bay! They must have been made for you!!!

Way to go with the shoes! Gotta love Ebay!!!! :cool1:

So glad to hear you were able to make the switch in venue. You must be so excited!!! :yay:

Thanks! That's sweet! :goodvibes

I still have so much to do, I can't IMAGINE getting married for the 1st time in Disney, I'm overwhelmed with just doing a VR!! And it doesn't require so much, no BM's, MOH, BM etc.

Still to do:

Earrings
Shoes for my DDs
Welcome Bags
Personalized Tshirts for the Family
& I'm going to attempt to create Carrie's wonderful, wonderful Bride/Groom hats! Wish me luck! :goodvibes

They are beautiful. They will look great with your gown..... things are moving along....looking forward to more of your plans.:goodvibes Lots of luck with your projectspixiedust:

I just caught up on your PJ!!! First of all I have to say that you guys are like the cutest family..your girls are beautiful!!! I'm so happy for you and your husband :)

I just love everything and I am really enjoying this!! Thank you for sharing,I'm looking forward to more.

The pictures are so cute, esp the one with you guys kissing and the girls faces and the one of you and Kaitlyn with your knee's up,so cute :)

Happy Sunday!

Well, I finally finished my T-shirts! I feel like I've really accomplished something...all my other projects are either half done or not even started!

It's helps having a High School Coach for a husband, you have a lot of "ins" with local t-shirt companies. A good friend of my hubby donated 20 blue tshirts for our vow renewal!!! So, my only expense has been paying for the tshirt transfer paper (which, by the way, if you buy the dark tshirt transfer paper is expensive $12 for 5 sheets). The tshirts will be part of the "welcome bags" I haven't started yet! I plan on having the family wear the Tshirts during the Illuminations DP!
