Are there any rooms with views of the fireworks at the Grand Californian??

We are are going in August, we have 4 different packages locked in (DGC standard view, park and DTD views)no deposts on one yet.

We're debating on spending the extra $$$ for the view. I think it's worth the extra if I can sit on my balcony and see fireworks, but not worth the extra if I can't.

Can anyone give me any guidance on this :confused3 ?

We had a lovely view of the new fireworks from our standard view 4th floor monorail courtyard room last week. It was a total, happy surprise. I can tell you the room number, if you wish, once I dig through my unopened luggage, just got home yesterday from a 17 day CA trip. I would think that most, if not all, DTDs view would be able to view fireworks though.

Your room number when you have a chance would be great, thanks for the info :goodvibes

We got upgraded last December because of some frustrating mix-ups with our reservation (looooong story) But, anyway, we ended up with two theme park view and two DTD view rooms...The views were fantastic in both, but the DTD rooms had the firework view...AND you can play the music on your t.v. in the room so you get to hear the show too. It was a really nice evening gathered with the family having a glass of wine and watching the fireworks from our own balcony!
