Does anyone have suggestions for a room or rooms at WDW that will comfortably fit 5 adults? I have seen a few rooms that have a king bed, queen bed, and then a pull out couch. It doesn’t seem fair for one person to be stuck with a pull out couch or day bed.

Thanks in advance.

OKW has 1 king and 2 queen beds in their 2BR villas. Several resorts have suites that offer the number of beds you will need. Or you could book two regular hotel rooms. How much are you looking to spend?

Most DVC 2 bedroom villas will have a king in the master, and two queens in the second bedroom and a pullout couch. The 2 DVC resorts that do not have this option are the Polynesian and Boardwalk. Poly only has Bungalows and studios. Boardwalk has lock off 2 bedrooms so you would get a king in the master, pull out couch in living room, the other bedroom would be a studio so it would have a queen bed and a pullout couch. It would probably be cheaper to get 2 studios or a cabin at Fort Wilderness

You didn't say the make-up of your group, couples, all singles, grown children, etc. ? So, how many individual beds do you need ? Two "regular" rooms will obviously get you 4 queen beds, everything else as the PP said will give you a combination of regular beds, sofa beds, pull out beds and the new murphy beds.

The new Murphy beds in the refurbished Values are cited as being as comfortable as the regular beds. Neither has a box spring. A refurbished All StarMusic Family Suiteg would keep eveyone together. Two rooms anywhere would allow for some personal time - at least more than sharing a single unit.

Most dvc two bedrooms are a studio and one bedroom so they would have a king (one bedroom master) a queen (studio) and two pull out sofas and maybe a chair depending on the resort.

Actually both you and @The Jackal are correct. DEDICATED 2BR villas have 1K and 2Q and a sleeper sofa. 2BR lockoff villas have 1K, 1Q and 2 sleeper sofas. Recently renovated SSR villas have the Murphy style sleeper sofa, as does Riviera.

We did 5 adults at POLY studio (not good) AOA Cars suite (nice) SSTHV (Loved it good if you have a car) next trip OKW 2 bed villa. (I’m thinking this one could be the big winner)

2 bedroom lockoffs have a studio attached. They also sell out first, since the studio can be locked off from the 1 bedroom and rented separately. DVC studios sell out quickly due to their value. The dedicated 2 bedrooms are more widely available.
Also Disney is getting away from box springs under the bed. Numerous resorts do not have them. The beds just have a mattress and under bed storage. Box springs are for the most part a thing of the past. Mattress technology has come a long way.

How cheap are does your room need to be? The cheapest thing would be 2 value rooms. You won't find one room with 3 beds like you want at any Disney resort. They will all have a combo of beds and a pull out/fold down, unless you go to a 2 bedroom villa.

I think you're right! We (4ppl) tried OKW 1BR last December. DH & I took the king, DS slept on pull out chair and SIL slept on the pull out sleeper sofa. We enjoyed all the space at OKW, very comfortable.

sorry! It would be me and my husband, my sister and her boyfriend, and my mother.

The Jambo House two bedroom villas are all lockoffs - meaning a studio with a one bedroom. So the second bedroom will be a queen bed and double sleeper sofa.

We are a family of five. We have found the contemporary and poly to have the most space. The sofa beds there aren’t the traditional kind. However, I wouldn’t want to stay in either of those with five adults. I would want two bathrooms, separate space, and all real beds. I would vote for two rooms.

we normally stay deluxe, but did two rooms at POP this past trip since my mom joined us this trip. Having two bathrooms and separate space was great. We also had adjoining rooms.

Years ago, when the youngest was under 3, the six of us stayed in a 1 bedroom at kidani. If I did DVC now, I’d get a two bedroom. I wouldn’t my mom or my teen to have to sleep on a pull out sofa bed.

I think 2 separate rooms so that everyone can have a bit of their own space. We've traveled with extended family many times and it's not always about how many beds, but about bathroom space and even personal sanity space.
