Room requests AKL and Poly

Any suggestions for room requests ?

Animal Kingdom Lodge (one bedroom DVC standard view )

Polynesian Lake View ( DVC ) studio - any suggestions on which rooms have best view ? Will request a higher floor

We have always been in a Savannah room before but decided to use points for a one bedroom with standard view
Not sure how that will work out but any tips very much appreciated

I'd request Kudo Trail for Jambo. That should get you a partial savannah view in the standard view.
Poly - top floor. Or high floor. I wouldn't worry much about which end of the building it's on.

I heard (never stayed lake view so have no personal experience) that the side of Moorea facing the lagoon closest to the TTC ferry dock can be noisier due to the ferry horns, if that matters in any way. So, maybe request one at the other end of the building

3914 and 3915 at Poly are the most requested rooms on Disney Property. Standard room with a castle view

For standard at Jambo, anything on kudu trail will have at least partial savanna.

I've heard that too. Had the 1st floor LV in the 2 rooms closest to the TTC and the only thing that we heard that bothered us were the leaf blowers the gardeners operated around 7am to clear the sand off the sidewalk.

we just stayed in moorea in room 3018. i feel like the view cannot be beaten. we had such a great vantage point for fireworks. you do hear the ferry horns, i guess it depends on how sensitive to noise you are. were from NY so we barely noticed it honestly

We always request 3018-3020 in Moorea- we are not super light sleepers but the ferry horns don't bother us. These rooms have great views and are a quick walk down the stairs to the back door of Tokelau to cut through to the Oasis pool and coffee refills at the drink station there in the morning! I hope you have an amazing stay!

Take it from someone with personal experience - definitely ask for a room away from the Ferry Dock, if you have any lighter sleepers in the group. If there would have been a room available to move to, we would have - Ferry horn from early morning to late at night. For us, personally, it took away from the stay.
