Room request question

Ok..I'm not trying to start controversy but I have a legitimate question. Our youngest has asthma and we always requested non smoking room due to medical reasons and had no problem. Now that the whole resort is non smoking, how do we ensure we aren't in a "former" smoking room at YC? Anyone make a request like this?

I would add your DD's information to your room request. Noting that this would be a medical request. Some guest have requested a deep cleaning of their rooms do to allergies or asthma so I'm sure Disney can assist you.

I would go ahead and make sure it's noted on your reservation that for medical purposes you must have a room that has not been smoked in. I have asthma aswell and I know if I was in a room that was a smoking room in the past I would be able to tell, so just explain your situation and I'm sure everything will be fine.

Hi, I thought I read that only 5% of the rooms were smoking.That should give Disney plenty of time to clean( change carpet/paint ) the rooms,I hope.

I would just let the reservations stand.

Upon arrival ask to check the room before actually checking in or settling into room.....if it kinda, sorta, even remotely smells of a previous smoker then ask for another room


Requesting it now may only add confusion to your reservations.
