I have a few questions about room requests for CBR.

My wife and I are going to be staying at CBR at the end of April with our 18 month old daughter and my adult neice. We booked a standard room with a 5th sleeper.

1) What is the best location to request if we want to be central to the skyliner, the buses and the main building and such?
2) since the requests on the site are just "Close to buses", "close to skyliner", and "ground floor", how would we go about requesting a specific villiage (like Jamaica, for example)?
3) if i have to call for the request, can i call now or do i have to wait until it is closer to the time we leave?

Thanks for the help. I am so excited!

Well, I just stayed in Aruba in that same room type last week and we were close to the Riviera skyliner, but to be close to all three things (main area, skyliner, etc) I'd probably pick Jamaica and then use the path across Ol Man Island to get to main food court/pool area.

You can't really pick a building online, would have to call or go to front desk. I would pick skyliner first, then ground floor as a preference with a stroller.

There are bus stops all around so that would not really be an issue.

I called beforehand and had them add it to my reservation that I wanted to be close to the Skyliner. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived so I had to go talk to a cast member in the lobby. He double-checked and made sure we were close to the skyliner. We were in Jamaica, but I don't remember what building. It was a short walk to the skyliner and bus station. It was an 8-10 minute walk to the main building, but we only went there once.

For my last stay at CBR, we had a Preferred room and requested and received a room in the Martinique section closest to the Riviera.

Proximity to the CBR buildings was great, and my kids loved the marshmallow roast that they had every evening at the beach near our room. But equally, it was a very short walk to the great restaurants at the Riviera, and the skyliner station there.

We could only book preferred and I am a little bummed because I really wanted to stay in one of the buildings over the bridge that were between the 2 skyliner stations. I requested Martinique 25. Do you think Martinique 26 is a better choice since it’s closer to Riviera or is the difference between the 2 buildings not that big of a difference?

While CBR as a whole is big, the individual sections are not. We were in 25 and it was perfect. An extra minute or two farther from RIV but an extra minute or two closer to the central buildings at CBR.

Have a great time!
