Room Ready ???

Can someone explain what "room ready" means and what I should expect when I check in.

When you check-in at your resort if a room is available and already cleaned, it will be offered to you. It may not meet your requests and you may opt to wait until a room with your requests is available.

It does allow guests the chance to get into a room immediately upon arrival.
