room only offer starts October 8

Just did my spread sheet & seems my best bet is the SPD (4 adults, 1 kid) at POR with 2 royal rooms. This year my brother is going with us so when I added up the #

But I really want him to go so I can't complain!

I was making a spreadsheet with the prices but i must quit it sorry

Are you aware yet what the exact percentages will be for each resort? Will all deluxes be 30-35% or might some be lower (e.g. WL, AKL)?

Thank you! :goodvibes

Danny edited his first post to indicate that it will be the same offer as last year. This is what was offered for Jan-Mar 2013. Please note that NONE of this is confirmed. I'm not promising anything, just trying to help clarify. Please take with big hunks of salt.

I'm really interested to see if these percentages hold true again for 2014. That 25% at WL is killing me! With 30% at POR, the savings difference just might make me back out of WL.

We're in a similar position. Debating between WL or just springing up to BC/Poly if the difference in price is minimal because of the greater percentage discount at those two resorts. Time will tell, I guess. :confused3

What about AsMu?? I've always heard that the Asmu fs were more likely to get discounted than the AOA suites?

How are you guys doing the math for the SPD promo? I'm so lost!

To get a decent estimate, probably using a spreadsheet to add it all up:

1. Use the disneyworld.com site to price out a resort room using the regular rates for your dates.
2. Use the disneyworld.com tickets area to see what tickets cost using the child 3-9 pricing for the people in your party.
3. Use the child prices for the dining plan available at the resort you want. For values it's quick service at $15.75 per night. For moderates and above it's the regular plan at $18.88 per night.

All this together should give you an idea what it will cost with S/P/D.

From the numbers I ran for my week (hoping for S/P/D to be announced later and then be extended) I'm finding it's cheaper to just go with the moderate resort (CSR) since it comes with TS under S/P/D, rather than getting the value resort (AoA-LM) and upgrading the dining from QS to TS. Is this normal?

Sent from my iPad using the DISBoards app.

You are awesome, thank you!

Yes I can confirm that WL will be the same 35 % like the others deluxes :thumbsup2

but AKL will be only 10 % for the Savanna, the standar view rooms will not be discounted

Only to clarify the RO only offer will be 35 % for the luxes including WL, 25% to moderates, and 20 % to the values including ASMU, ok my friends?

I can't speak for the Family Suites (we're just a family of 3) but the AS Music regular rooms were included last year but weren't listed. AS Music consistently (in my experience) gets a better discount than AS Movies.
