room only offer starts October 8

The AKL discounts Danny is quoting don't make a lot of sense to me. AKL rooms are always among the highest discounts - ESPECIALLY standard view rooms. Why would they suddenly be excluded from discounts? And I don't see how they could only discount AKL pool and savannah views 5-10% if CR TPV is going to be 35%.

I don't think anything is a guarantee until Disney makes it official. Looking forward to October 8th!

They probably mean that for them there wasn't much difference in price between the room only offer versus the play/stay/dine offer.

I was planning a RO at AKL Club Level for two nights but based on this is sounds like I might need to pick a back-up option that will offer a better discount. Any suggestions?

Thanks so much for posting this information. I have a question regarding a split stay between POR and renting DVC points for AKV. I will need to purchase 9 day tickets would I receive child pricing even though we will only be at the moderate for five days? I understand the child dining price would only be valid for the five days and we would pay OOP once me move to DVC.

The good thing is we check into the moderate first. So I would book five nights with a 9 day tickets.
