Room Only Discount extended on Disney Site!!

Quick question. I see the dates are extended - is the book by date still 3/27/2010?

According to the site it is.

Book early for best availability, rooms fill up fast! Book through March 27, 2010.

The Disney site is working much better this morning. It is even applying the discount for the Value resort during the June dates that didn't work for me yesterday.

I called this morning and got the discount on the beach club....the CM took time and said he had to "convert" the code...whatever that meant....I didn't care I was just happy to get the discount!

Did you have a current reservation?

I don't think so. The discount is on the room portion. Whether you have a room only or a complete package, the discount will be taken off the room. The tickets & dining will stay the same.

Make sure you do the pricing and have it in front of you so you know for sure what you should be getting when you call. On the website, it will list the room rate in its own section so you should see if it discounted right away.

You wouldn't be able to purchase the dining plan unless you purchased a package.

After the issues I had yesterday with my reservation and the rate not being correct for Auguest 7-14, I went ahead and switched back to Sept 4-11 and got our 30% off discount back.

Thank you for starting this thread, I was originally booked with a reservation at Pop from 8/7 to 8/22. Well, when I saw this thread I hopped on it and was able to upgrade to POFQ!!! Yeah!

And it still saved just about $200 from my Pop reservations that we were paying rack rate for and a preferred room.

Now I have to read up on POFQ! We have never stayed there. I am excited.

I just made reservations for Wilderness Lodge for 8/8 - 8/15. Woo hoo! I did have the Dolphin booked for that time, but cancelled it. It was only $95 more for WL. Before the code it would have been $756 more! We really love the EPCOT area, but I want to try Wilderness Lodge and I think its a good time to do it with the code since its such a good deal! It is DH and my 19th Anniversary and we are bringing NO kids!!

Just used code:QNY for my room only reservation in Aug 8-14. AP CM said I could only use it under the General public code., but wait for the AP discount to come out and switch. This way I could add dining and not the tickets. Hope this happens soon.

You can't combine any discounts. You just have to pick the best one!

I am having a hard time believing what they are telling me. He says I am getting a better rate on my AAA discount than I would with the 25/30. However, the AAA discount is only 10%. I don't think this is correct. It has to be their computer.

Does anyone know what the flat fate is for the value resorts in the summer season both weeknights and weekends. I really think something has to be wrong!!!

This is probably incorrect info - we have POR for July 6 - 13 and booked through AAA agent. When I saw this today, contacted her and she rebooked and it's $300 less than the previous booking with the AAA discount. Maybe because POR is moderate and you were talking value.

My AAA travel agent can't find this deal.... Really, she's great, and she's been wonderful for us, but I don't know what to tell her because I can't find a code or anything to give her. Anyone have any ideas of how I could point her toward this discount???

The code is QNY. The information is actually right on the Disney resort website. It just says when booking use code QNY or click this link to book online.

The CM I told to when she applied the code to my reservation said the code she applied was QOU. I went from a Garden Wing, Garden View room at the Contemporary to a one bedroom Villa Lake View at Bay Lake Towers and still save almost $500.
