Room only discount code club

Nothing online this morning. Anyone planning to call?

I have to be on the phone with dining at 7:00am to book F&W events.

brutal just got up and ran to here to check........... I can't call I gotta get ready for work will check in when I get to there and try to call then.

I can't call this morning either, until I get to work (which will be around 7:30). DH and DS are taking me to work today because DS has his private wrestling lessons.

Have been trying to call and all circuits are busy so I can't get through. This is what happened when free dining was announced...wonder what's up?

I don't really want to wait on hold for an hour so I'll wait till I know for sure there is a discount to be had.

F&W went on sale today. Wait times shot up quickly. We know when FD went live that overloaded calls got dumped into the dining queue. So I would guess that the reverse happened today.

So I now have my F&W events. :cool1: Now I just need a place to sleep.

What does that mean? i thought food and wine was a walk-up type of deal??

F&W does include the booths with the snacks and drinks that you can just walk up to, but there all also seminars and demos and tastings and parties that are booked on their own.

I was so hoping for a room only discount to be released today. I want to go in Dec. but won't go unless there is a room only discount. Please WDW grant me this one Christmas wish, a nice room only discount. :santa:

I've given up on Disney and have booked a DTD hotel. I'll probably keep an eye out, but I got a great rate at the DTD Hilton so even if a GP room only comes out, 25% off at the moderates probably won't make me switch now.

I have seriously been thinking of doing this, looked at a few things yesterday. I'm so up in the air its driving me insane. This is our first trip to Disney and I wanted to be right there onsite and get the whole experience, but really..... I just don't know now.

Just my two cents, but I prefer staying onsite (I've done both). The moderates are awesome and really nicely themed. The price without a discount is not bad for a moderate hotel either! Good luck with your decision though!

And here's to STILL hoping for a room only discount!

My backup plan is the Swan. So I'm nervous about waiting too long and losing that discount. Last week I was very calm. Everything we know says the GP discount will come soon. But this week I'm a wreck. Maybe because I was really expecting Monday. Maybe because I have everything else booked now but no place to sleep. :scared1: DSis is still calm so we're waiting until the end of the week. The Swan is still great, but we're still holding out hope for Stormalong Bay.

I just wish we heard something. Anything. There's been nearly complete silence from CMs and TAs since FD came out. From what's being reported here anyway. Not even a "wait till mid-August" hint.

I'm getting a bit nervous too about a room. I don't have anything booked, but I keep telling myself there are plenty of places to stay in Orlando and Kissimmee -- it's not like other towns that fill up to capacity. So, I know I'll be able to find *a* place to stay -- I just hope it's one that I want to stay at!

Fingers crossed for a code this week. I booked my room for last year on Aug 16, so it really is the right time for a discount code!!!

Yes. There was some discussion on another thread this morning about this. A CM told someone to look for something "in the next two weeks". Now that the 13th and 16th rumors proved false we're left with nothing concrete. And we did hear that there was no overtime this week. So maybe next week.
