My family has a trip planned for later this month, but we have run into a problem. My husband's company has changed his schedule and he will not be able to join me and the kids until two days after the family is supposed to arrive. I am still planning on taking the kids as scheduled, but I don't know how my husband is supposed to get into the room when he finally arrives. The kids and I have priority seating reservations at Cinderella's castle at around the same time he will be arriving in MCO. He will have luggage and will want to take it to the room. I would hate to have to cancel the lunch reservation. Is there someplace in the resort where I could leave our room key, so he could just pick it up there?

Thanks in advance!

I would think you could let them know at the desk and they would just give it to him, since his name will (or should) be on the room list. I can't speak from experience though...

for a question like this, you should call the resort and talk to the front desk, i' m sure they deal with this sort of thing all the time. there will be a procedure to handle it.

If his name is on the reservation let them know when you check in he will be arriving on a different date. He can then go to the desk and get his own key.

They will actually generate his key when you check in if you want and keep it safely with your paperwork at the front desk. When he arrives and shows identification, they will give him the key and the room number. I'm sure of this, I did it with a friend arriving for only part of my stay at OKW last winter.
