Room # And Weather ?'s

my dh and I are going on the 7 night western feb 28th and we have been assigned room 2502 cat 9. Does anyone know if this will be a good room or if there is anything we should be aware of. also, we were told by a relative that the weather , as far as winds go, were pretty bad at this time of year and will make for a rough cruise ride.
Thank you all for you time and response, I dont know what I would do without this board and the kind people here.

We've done 4 cruises on DCL in Jan/Feb., and 2 on other cruise lines in those months. I've never found the weather particularly windy. You can't promise the temperature will be as high as you might like, but we've had great weather 3 of the 4 DCL cruises. Of course, we also cruise in Sept./ Oct which is hurricane season, so that might be why Feb. seems calm! It always feels windy on the deck because the ship is moving at about 20-25 knots.

We've been in cat 9 on deck 2, and I really enjoyed it. Sorry, but after a total of 9 cruises on the Magic, I don't remember cabin numbers. I like deck 2 and deck 5 aft.....
