We are going on a 4 day land 3 day sea, and our sea portion is May 13-16. We just received our documents today. My husband and I are in one room and our daughter (4 yrs old) is in the room with my husbands parents (she would rather stay with nana and papaw-go figure). We requested to have connecting rooms, or at the very least rooms that were close together. We got our cabin assignments, and we are on deck 7 aft, and they are deck 6 forward. Our travel agent was upset, since she requested conecting or very close cabins. She is going to see if we can be moved closer together. Does anyone know if it is hard to get your cabin changed after receiving your travel documents? We booked a gty category 11, I don't think cat 11 has any connecting rooms (hoping for an upgrade-ha ha). I looked on Orbitz for my cruise dates, and it looks like only balcony rooms are left (wouldn't that be a nice upgrade!!!)

I dont know what can be done now since I would assume everyone has their cabins assigned. Hopefully the ship isnt full and they can do some shuffling around for you.
In the future if you do this again you can book specific room numbers(not just a category) when you first book the cruise that way you know you will be where you want to be.
Good luck!
