My husband and I ALWAYS eat inside the parks, but I am feel like at least just ONCE we should try one of the many restaurants that we hear so much about inside some of the resorts. We are not picky, we love atmosphere, attentiveness, and we are romantics. We also love contemporary and classic. Please advise me on which of these you would consider to be well suited! If there is some place I've missed, please let me know!

I picked V &A, but I also think Blue Zoo would be a good choice.

For me though - I haven't dined all the places you listed, but I've walked by all of them - one of the most romantic places we've ever been at WDW is Flying Fish. It's romantic because you can walk the Boardwalk after a fine dinner. Often there are wedding celebrations going on in that area, the BC/YC area is more secluded, as is the Swan area, the beaches, the boat ride....

Blue Zoo is near Flying Fish.

V & A's menu did not appeal to me all that much when I saw it.

Also very romantic, IMO are the various eateries at Universal's Portofino Bay resort. That is the most romantic, IMO. Maybe it's me, but when I'm on Disney, I always know I'm on Disney..and I'm thinking about the parks. At PB, you are a little farther from the park, so it doesn't enter my mind as much. Plus all that beautiful Italian music is great. I don't know if they still do this, but they used to have a strolling musician in the restaurant. No place in WDW has that!

DH and I had a wonderful dinner for just us at the Flying Fish on Saturday night. The service from our waiter, Bob was superb. He was great with suggestions, introduced us to a wonderful Zinfandel, which went perfect with the short ribs and potatoe wrapped red snapper.

We usually go out once a month without the kids to nice restaurants and this is the best service I have had in a long time, plus the food was just as good.

V&A hands down. It will be the most romantic meal and wonderful food you will have at WDW!! Maybe anywhere!! If you are not picky, you'll love it. It is fun to dress up and have a very grown up dining experience. I wish I were there right now!! Order the wine pairings too. Just plan to take a cab.

No contest, if Victoria & Albert's is even a remote possibility for you financially - it's the best meal on property. The food, ambiance, and just everything is wonderful and perfect!
