Romance at ASMo?

ASMO is about as romantic as a bag of Cheetos.

Well I disagree with the others.

Romance is what you make of it, not where you stay or how much $ you spend.

We spent our honeymoon at POP and it was wonderful. DH brought breakfast to the room every morning, we took walks around the grounds holding hands, he gave me foot massages every night, just was over all attentive.

If you want to stay at ASMo, then go for it. As far as the kids running around thing....it is DISNEY, they are everywhere. lol
You can always sneak off to a hidden spot to make out, makes it fun and exciting.

Stay where you wish and if you go with a romantic attitude.....it will be there.

we're sneaking off for our 1st adult only disney trip too next week for 3 days.

only DVC room open was SSR & i didn't want to spend the point allotment, grabbed a value w/bounceback offer i had from last Dec's stay @ POR-FQ (if it wasn't $60 more a night i'd have def booked it over the ASMo as the layout is romantic...

except for the pool. even the quiet pools @ disney get crowded & noisy during peak times, im just hoping to get the King bed @ the value.

I personally have no problem staying at a value resort for a romantic getaway, but I would not choose the ASMO. It really is geared more towards families with children.
I like the ASMU, and if you can stay there (IMHO) it would be a better choice.
Request a building towards the back of the resort, the grounds are really nice and walking around the resort can be quite romantic.
The main pool gets busy and noisy (just like any resort) but the other pool does not seem to get as much traffic.
Enjoy whatever you decide.

Thanks for all the replies, and I have very good news! I called Member Services again and again and again, and I got to book OKW instead!!! We're happy with that as we love that resort. Yay!

I am going to keep calling back to see if anyone cancels before that 30 day mark to see if I can get into BWV. So much for saving the points... just couldn't see paying over $200 for a moderate for the weekend when I could use the points at a deluxe! Yay for DVC!
