Hi All!!!
Shannon had another surgery yesterday. We have been really busy working on the new house, Dr.s appointments, therapy, etc. Now I am at home after a full day of working on the new house and trying to get this one straightened up! I need some !!!

Okay... I'm all caught up now!

I hope Shannon is doing better too! And that Braeton's strep cleared up quickly and didn't sweep through the whole house! Don't you just love it when the kids share their sickie yuckies?!

Sooooo We are heading to the Bus stop after buying Pal Mickey his own raincoat and eating a bite. Braeton and I shared a yogurt parfait almost every morning and Tyler is so picky i can't remember what he finally decided on.
We get to the Bus stop and Oh Look is that a MK bus? Yes it is! Wave Bye Bye MK bus.

So what should we do now? I strap Braetons chest straps around him so he can't go rolling around and then I start recheckng the backpack just to make sure we have everything before we leave the resort while Tyler is leaning over the fence checking out the water and things in it and Braeton is......... Braeton? BRAeton?? BRAETON STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Want to guess what Braeton was doing?????????? He was leaning way around trying to unlock his brakes!!! Don't do that and he grins and While he rolls away up up up near the road. CATCH THAT WHEELCHAIR!!!!!!!!!!!

Tyler saves the day. What a good boy you are. For that you can have ice cream as soon as we hit the park. Who cares if you get a sugar high right when we get there and you climb on top of the castle??? You are MY HERO!!!

Braeton is bent over in his wheelchair his little body shaking so hard I think something is wrong with him. Braeton are you o.k. and he looks up AND.

the little stiinker is laughing his head off!!!! he thinks he has just done the most hilarious thing ever!!!!!!!!!!!

So to get my heart calmed down and to look like I know what I'm doing since just about then a whole group of people come around the corner, we look over the railing and count Frogs!!! And then lily pads and then flowers... NO just kidding about that last one!

Then here comes a bus!!!! AK Oh look another one and another one and THERES ours So we go up to the corner that would be by the end of the bus since that is where all good boys and girls who have wheelchairs line up and the bus rolls slowly right...past us and stops. THe Crowd surges and this is usually the part where the driver says just one minute please I need to get the wheelchair first but NO They all climb up and I send Tyler running SIR we have a wheelchair. OH You do? Ya'll are going to MK?
No we are going to TimbuckTo that's why we are standing in the MK line. We just wanted to enjoy the scenery!!!

Now that is what I would have wanted to say if I hadn't been in the happiest place on earth. So Instead we just smiled and nodded. Tyler looked alittle like DUH Man. I'll excuse him he wasn't quite 8 years old yet. He still had some child left in him. Now he's 8 he's all grown up you know. At least that is what he tried to tell me yesterday when he didn't want to...
Oh excuse me. I was in the middle of??????

Oh yeah how rude of me! Sorry, back to the TR

So the driver looks at the crowd and says Can any of you move to different seats so I can try to get this wheelchair on here?? A few in the front move and a few in the back scoot over, the 4 people sitting where the wheelchairs go just kind of looked at us and him. Umm Ma'am would you mind moving over?
HMPHHHH! Now please keep in mind that these people had just gotten there. I think the longest any one was there before the bus got there was 3 min. except for us!!
So She moves over and he can't get the seat up. He pulls and pushes and grunts and then decides to pull the lever. It easily goes up
Poor guy he must be new. So then he goes to let down the lift and it doesnt' want to go down he's banging and shoving and it starts and it stops stuck. O.k. waht do we do now???? So then he gets it to go back up and another bus pulls up behind us and the driver gets out and whispers. The other bus leaves and out driver lets out bus down and then the lift goes easily out. WE get on trying to be inconspicious as the whole bus looks at these people who are causing us to be late to the park when a very nice woman leans over and comments on B's wheels. She noticed the lights on them when he rolled in. Then someone ask the driver how long he had been with Disney and he replies 5 years!!!!!!!!!!!!! Driving for all of them!!!!!!!!!!!!

O.k. maybe he had a rough day!!!!

So we finally get to MK and go through Baggage. What should we do?? Let's hit Toon Town!!!!!!!!!!

Sooo we were headed for Toon Town. We went straight to Goofys Barnstormer. Went up the exit ramp and waited where a rather grouchy looking CM was not having a good day. Seems her fellow CM was not wanting to do her job that day so she was having to do double duty PLUS help a newbie that was working the line. We just stood patiently and waited. OFF we went!.............. Braeton laughed and laughed. HE loved it.
It ended all too soon. Down the exit we went and walked to Pete's Body shop then back up we went. He wanted to ride the front. So we waited because although the CM was going to put us up there. There was a little girl and her Dad that was waiting for that when we got off the ride earlier. So we waited and then we were OFF again. This time I had 2 giggle boxes. At the end the CM heard Braeton laughing and comes over smiling. Would you like to ride again Buddy? Well of course.

So we were off.

And then we rode again.

And then we were off.

Now we did switch spots because I didn't want to take the front from someone who wanted it and we all agreed that the back was the best! I was getting embarresed riding so much, but as I would get off and start hauling Braeton out the CM's insisted that he ride again. Finally after the 5th total ride I insisted we get off. The CM hugged B and told him to have the best WISH trip ever and gave the boys...............

Yep more stickers!!

Now I am going to have to be honest here. I started crying on the barnstormer. Yes I did!! It was just so nice for them to insist on him riding and even the people in line were like let him ride again!! And after the rough couple of nights he had had and that morning with his legs it was so good to hear that belly laugh!!!!



So I'm looking at the time and decide we need to do whatever we are going to do because we are going to run out of time when HEY who wants to see where Mickey lives???

I DO!! I DO!!

Off to Mickeys house we go. A CM was standing in front and says May I help YOU/ Do I need to go another way with the wheelchair or is it all compatible??
He says, Would ya'll like to see Mickey??

Well Of Course! And he says Follow me. Then he takes us down a route blocked off and over to the Judges tent. I originally wasn't going to do this since I had read the lines were long and we had several Character meals with Mickey planned.
The CM ask us to wait a min. and goes over to a door and starts whispering.
He brings us PAST everybody and another CM comes out. She bends over and hugs Braeton and High 5's Tyler. I hear somebody had a WISH???

Now I hadn't said anything to them. We were wearing our Texas Wishing Well Buttons though. She says Did you wish to come to Disney World???

And Tyler answers. "He wanted to see Mickey and Pooh bear."

Well have you seen them? She asks. "

Uh Huh I hugged Pooh bear yesterday and mumble mumble mumble." B was starting to get shy.

"He say Pooh at CP yesterday and Mickey waved to him at the parade." I said.

Well ........ I forgot the CMs name here wants to give you a special surpise and I think I can help him out.

So we thanked the guy CM and followed the lady CM inside.

I realized the photopass guy was taking pics. Oh Here's my card!! He took 27 of the kids!!! And they are all great. I think the pics speak for themselves. so here are some more.

B decided to play!!

Now here is where Mickey did the I love you sign to Tyler and then pointed at B and Shrugged his shoulders at Tyler. Tyler said I love you to and then said Thank you for seeing my brother he really loves you and this trip is his wish trip so you made his wish come true. i think Mickey got a little overwhelmed at that!!

Both CMs and photopass looked away and wiped at their eyes. i tell you must of been a lot off allergens in the air that day!!!

Time to go! Bye Mickey!!!

Mickey hugged me and turned me away from the door and got back down on his knees so I gave in.

I really tried to leave several times, trying to be consientious of all the gazillions of people I had seen in line. I think the CM could tell that, cause she came and whispered to me not to worry about the time, just stay as long as Braeton wanted to. To which I replied. Well we'd have to move in then. Hmmm Maybe I should of tried that huh!!!???

But as you can tell in the last few pics. B was getting really overwhelmed and was starting to act out. He was so excited and it a little too much sensory stimulation!!!

I have a couple of more pics that I will put on the next update of this.



So we finally left. I think we spent a good 20 minutes with Mickey and we were definatly not forced to leave. In fact we were told to come back if we had time and wanted to!!! God Bless these CMs especially I think his name was Jim??? Who saw us staring at Mickeys house and just came over to be nice. He made the second part of Braetons dream come true in ways we had never imagined. So where to next Welll we are in ToonTown lets go see where they live....................

So what next to do but go into Mickeys house of course!!!

Here are some VERY blurry shots. I didn't get any good ones. Braeton kept rolling his chair right in front of people that moved right in front of us to take a picture while we were trying to take a picture!!!
Anybody understand all that? I typed it and I am not sure I even understand it all!!!

It's amazing how manners seem to fly @ when you are on vacation. Those that seem to NEVER have any somehow catch the ones that people who usually have them have let loose!! I was pretty amazed at the people who would tell their young chldren to wait their turn and have patients while people were photographing their families but when it came to B they didn't see him!

That's when I realized that the Disney magic had set upon us!! All of Braetons love for superheroes had swirled and shown upon him and WE Had Become A SUPER FAMILY!!

The SUPER INVISIBLE FAMILY!​

And just what gave us these magic powers????

Hmmmm?

Braetons pretty metall;ic blue wheelchair with the light up wheels! Now those that could see us were also infected with Disney super magic heroe powers. But the ones that just tried to cut us out or run us over, they weren't being rude! NO!! They couldn't help it. In fact is was our fault, because we were invisible.

So we enjoyed being invisible and the next time a grown man literally put his hand on Braetons wheelchair to push him away so He could put his darlings in front to take a pic. Braeton shouted it's o.k. I'm INVISIBLE!!!


That poor man was so embarresed. He rushed his daughters away with his face so red. I felt bad for the kids but I didn't feel sorry for the man and call me a bad Mom if you will but NO I didn't get onto Braeton that time. Now I did explain sort of later that we needed to keep our invisibility to ourselves. So we could keep our super powers.

Next stop Minnies house!!!

(and by the way.. We still have some extra special make our dreams come true things happen on this day!!! What an awesome day!)

Now this was the day I was to call Bill Lin another WISH trip family to see if we could meet up with them. They were to be in MK that day and then we were all planning to be at AK the next day so that if we couldn't meet up one day perhaps we could meet up the next day!! Did we get to meet with them? I guess you will have to stay tuned to find out!!!

Me Mean? Never!! Everyone is doing a better except for moi! I can't seem to shake this thing. I think I have a mix of sinus/allergy/cold and exhaustion going on. Oh well It might as well find a new home, because I don't have time for it!! Speaking of new house they say 4 more Sat. including the one coming up and we will be done!!! They have not given a move in date yet though I wish they had because I am ready to MOVE out of where I am at!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes I do believe he was a bit spoiled that week. But you know he is NOT ever spoiled here so I don't think it hurt him too mcuh!!

The funny thing is that B didn't even see himself as different untill here recently. On the trip he was just getting a free ride cause his legs wouldn't always behave!! So he was all into this invisible secret power stuff. I just didn't want things like that ruining our trip, so we just found a way to make a bad thing fun. It was really bugging Tyler until then. NOW when my hubbie was with us. Well lets just say THAT'S a different story!!!!
