I've been playing our newer version of Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 with the expanded things, and have just gotten to the one called Thunder Mountain (or such):). Now, I have one question for anyone out there....How do you build rides underground? I've searched my game, the book and the internet, and haven't found out how yet! (I've noticed in other parks where the gamebuilders did so, but figured it was their secret.:) Now it looks like I need to know too.;) Thanking anyone and everyone in advance.....

First you have to put the ride down, then you can raise the ground around it to go over the part(s) you want to put under ground.

DH would like to know if anyone has the expansion pack for this game and if so ,do you think it is worth it. Thanks for any info.

Princess Aurora, thanks for the info. However, what do you do when the building is already in place? This one has a pyramid already in place, with one ride in it already.....:)
4disneyfans, ours came with the expansion pack already on it. You may want to look for it. We had done something with our other one, and just went ahead and bought new. We think it's worth it so far.:)

it's all about raising or lowering the ground so there is enough clearance for the ride to go underground. or raising the land just enough so the ride can go into a hillside. great way to use space. I'm kind of disappointed with RCT2..I thought there would be more parks in the "beginner" park section. I think we only had....5 (I think?)
