Rolled our rig! Pics added, page 4 FALSE ALARM, can't get the pix to post

Wow, that must have been scary. Glad nobody was seriously hurt. You definitely had someone looking out for you.

Minky, I am so sorry to hear this happened to you, but yes you are right, God was with you for sure. I hope you all heal quickly.

How did it happen??

We were going under an overpass when an 18-wheeler breezed past us. We felt the rear-end of the trailer shift, so DH let off the gas and applied the trailer brakes(you never hit the tow brakes!) Just before we passed out the other side the 18-wheeler gunned it and we think the draft from the truck caused some suction under that low bridge. He just did clear our car when all hell broke loose. It took just seconds, no more than 10 seconds max. The rear started to swerve and then it really started pushing us back and forth. There was a moment when I felt the car lift up and I knew we were going over. We rolled about 250 yards, I'd guess. I'm just so glad that we didn't go across the median or clip the truck or hit somebody. :scared1: This could have been so much unbelievably worse! (and is was very baaaaddd!)

DId stuff happen at slow motion at first then you experience it speeding up while it was happening?

Wow what a story.:scared1:
Its just amazing that no one was seriously injured or killed.
This will cause some nightmares.
So happy to hear you are OK!!!

Wow.. I can't believe you guys came out of that. So glad to hear everyone is ok.

we have an Expedition as well and my hubby loves this truck.

I am so glad to hear you are all OK... I am an SUV driver and I love it but do realize that I could potentially roll it...Once again glad to hear you and your family are doing fine

Thank goodness you are all alright

Thats why I've heard having a fifth-wheeler-where the trailer is attached to the inside of the bed of a truck-is a safer pulling option.

I cant believe you rolled 3 times and the trailer stayed attached!:scared1:

I am so happy to read that you are all okay! I read your original post to my DH who is a paramedic/firefighter and he thinks that you are all incredibly lucky as well and is also happy to hear that you are all okay.
