OK, here we go. Based on mickeywho?'s post in the other thread, let's conduct our own little private, non-legally-binding poll on cup ownership.

If I was the parent of either of those kids, I would say, "Listen. Your teacher took you on a field trip and was obviously too rushed to roll up the cup. It's her SUV." But then, I'm a teacher...
