For some reason the Key West cam doesn't seem to want to work on my Computer? I'll try to see if I can get it later.
Well I've dusted off my WDW Annual Pass and dug out my Disneyland Lanyard so at least i've done something productive during the last couple of days!!!
Also I've just been surfing around and have just found out about the 100 Magic Kingdom Memories Challenge for AP holders. Looks like a great opportunity to test my Magic Kingdom Knowlege (or lack there of.) Unfortunatly us International AP holders don't get copies of the Mickey Monitor AP Newsletter so I never usually find out about these things, but I least I've learned about this
I'm thinking of getting an AP for our trip in Dec. It's a 7 day trip and I think it may be worth it.
Are the discounts good that come with the AP? And does anyone have any opinions on whether it is a better value for the 7 days or should I stick with combining hoppers?
She's still pulling in. I guess I won't get to wave to Denine and Jerry before I shop.
OK LEt's surprise everyone and have 1700 posts by the time they all get to the boards.... We are averaging >100/day the rate we're going we'll make 2000 at least!
There are some good discounts available with APs especially of WDW Resort Acommodation. You can sometimes save more of your room than the cost of the AP!
If you visit WDWIG Annual Pass Info, they have details of all the current passholders offers. Also on Mousesavers they have details of the current AP room rates available.
From a value point of veiw it's difficult to say. If you were definatly going to make a second trip within a year then it would be definatly worth it, but if it is just for the one 7 day trip then you've just got to work it out for yourselves.
The current prices are $518.38 (inc tax) for a Premium Annual Pass (includes admission to the theme parks, water parks, Pleasure Island, DisneyQuest and Wide World of Sports) and $391.14 (inc tax) for a Standard Annual Pass (includes admission to just the theme parks).
I currently have a Premium Annual Pass myself and it works great for me.
Hi Denine and Jerry!! I know you are one of those specks on the pier!
Hate to go but shopping with mom calls.
We'll be over 1700 by the time I return...
Re AP... I would get the standard. We usually only do the 4 parks. We may spend one day at Typhoon so it wouldn't be worth it for that. Hopefully we could book a week earlier next year and then I could get more use out of it.
2 4 day passes would cost more that the annual so I guess it would be worth it.
