We had a wonderful time on the cruise and kinda went about things on our own time. I want to thank all of you for helping make this a great cruise. I say this because all of the pre-cruise excitement that was here before hand really made the anticipation wonderful. I still read this topic every day and it gives me great pleasure to hear of the friendships that were made.

I knew that comment would get you out of the Lurking mode! It was very strange to not even spot you after the first day. Same thing with Sandy II. Yet almost eveyone else we ran into daily.

I am glad we all helped with the excitement. I told my mom today that was what made the trip. It was like living in a real neighborhood for a week and running into people you know.

I'm glad you had a good time. And I agree it was overkill with the survey. Not so much from our servers who after a table change were terrific but the cruise director himself!

Hi Sue! Yea, my servers just wanted to make sure that we didn't confuse ship service with dining service. Not toooo bad, but noticeable.

Bonnie, thanks for the pics. Now I really MUST turn in my film. The memories might block out some of the recent bad, huh?

We saw Sandy II when she was selected as the spokesperson panelist for the late Mousketeer show. My DH Ben is who recognized her. She did a great job. Then we sat next to her table at Palo's on the last night, (and Diana and her folks were on the other side of us) and we asked what the 'gift' was. The panelists got a sticker, and a pin, supposedly going for $300. on e-bay. It had the Mousketeer pin with the work "panelist" dangling beneath.

Man- I volunteered to have make up applied, I decorated a cake, took all the dance lessons and all I got was a piece of cake and 10 lbs heavier! I am note complaining mind you, I reveled in all experiences but I would have loved a pin.

SandyII if you are out there I am soooo jealous-I love my pins. I'm just sorry I forgot them on the cruise.

Good Morning all-well Darren should be leaving for merry ole England today if I recall correctly. Have a safe flight, you and Vickie! I hope she enjoys her break.

I have to pack again today. Off to DC from work tommorw. YOu all will have to keep this thread going. While working on a computer for 3 days 9-4 I doubt that I will have internet access.

Mom-I got the first page done!! I am putting your scrapbook supplies to good use. The following pages should be a little easier. Do you work with 12X12 books? I prefer them.

Hey Julie and Garry where are you? I ws up till 11:30 last night and no check in. Garry-your # 2 (Julie being #1 of course) you know what is back in comission! LOL! The other two are working this weekend.



I will have to change this counter now for our Dec WDW trip and now I can put a thinner picture of the dudettes.

I got 3 pages of Patti's album done....for her title page, I put Tinkerbell in the left hand corner, A dream can come true in letters in the right hand corner and a cut out of the ship with Mickey, etc I cut out from a postcard in the lower half of the page. I put October 2002 in letters under it and then used a glitter pen and had pixie dust coming down from Tinkerbell's hand to the ship. I am waiting for her pictures to get started.

Great Idea mom! I put The Disney Dudette's Magical Cruise as a title... I use the computer for my text writing, The 2002 you gave me at the bottom, red stripe on one side, midnight blue on the other yellow background ant the boarding picture of the Dudettes in the center...it contains the actual date in the picture which is terrific.
I wish I was more creative but like I said I tend to be a little avant garde in my design. My best friend that I scrapbook with is very conservative while her daughter is the creative/artistic one. Her pages are beautiful. I always barely made it through art class in elementry school! Every now and then I come up with something terrific.

Whew, what a trip.
Where do I start. The trip home was uneventful, despite a very turbulent ride.
clare is missing EVERYONE, and from a 3-year-old. We saw the Dudettes as we were pulling out in the limo, and Clare said, "aren't they coming to mickey world with us?!, We have a big car."
It was so fun to meet everyone. I am terrible with names, but did get pretty good at recognizing faces.
We loved having brunch with the Dudettes and Darren, becoming friends with Kristen at the show, seeing Diana and brood trapsing along together (by the way, I got a shot of you all coming aboard at Castaway Cay, when I develop film, I'll send it to you), walking that "last walk" in from Castaway Cay with Denine and Jerry, the wine tasting, clare and mackenzie,and EVERYTHING else.

By the way, GREAT JOB KEEPING UP THE POST!!!

We are tired, finished being ill, and lazy today. Poor David had to take off again at 6:45 this morning for Chicago. We got in at 8:30 last night.
Speaking of sea legs...I had it bad!!! I didn't really get over it until Thursday last. Yes, riding rides is an adventure that way. Clare trick-or-treated at the Boardwalk and we went to Islands of Adventure on Monday, and back to Magic Kingdom on Friday (total run of the park).
Now, on to laundry etc.etc. Clare wants to know what is for breakfast...I found a piece of string cheese and some juice in the back of the fridge, better hit Wal-Mart.

I would love to keep in touch with you all, how are we doing that?
When I get pics. developed, I will post.

I thought the pin was pretty fair, considering that the panelists gave up their chance to win a free cruise. If any of them had been picked to play, they would have won quite a bit of moolaa.

Sounds to me like you are doing good! Art was the only thing I was good at in school....lol. I got by as average...thank God my children are above average like their dad.

It is a very cold day here...makes you want to put up the Christmas decorations. I am going to make 3 big stockings to put the plastic candy canes in to hang in front of my house. I saw where K-Mart has mini lighted outside trees to line the sidewalk with so I am going over there and pick those up....paying for them of course..heehee

Oh, HI Krista! Glad you are home safe and sound.
That was quite a bug that got passed around on the ship.
When Katie was in the hospital, it seemed every resident and fellow and their supervisors would come in to check on her and at the mention of "Disney Cruise" they would nod and look at each other. I guess there are quite a few illnesses from such a contained ship full of kids. Maybe the theaters and clubs could have better ventilation. I don't know. Glad you guys kicked it OK. That ship is no place for sissys with weak immune systems.

Vickie was a server on the ship. She worked with Darren at the Rose and Crown. We met while shopping in St. Maarten...Hey Lori remember Ben looking for you and the Dudettes yelling acorss the street "Lori!" What fond memories of this cruise. I wouldn't have it any other way. THe best thing I did was reply to the thread you started. If I never said it before...

What's up with the port canaveral cam? I was so disappointed that I didn't see the magic yesterday in port. Did anyone see it on the two palms cam yesterday?

Annika actually got sick while still on the boat -- I had to warn our poor room steward about changing the sheets the last morning! yuck!

We did not get any speils about the surveys!

Lori, next time we are next to each other at Palo's say hey! Didn't know you were there or we would have shared our last bottle of late harvest reisling with you (and believe me it was GOOD!) Instead we left it for the waiter as he knew exactly what it was when he opened the other one and was much appreciative. We brought 2 bottles out of 16 home! Not bad!

I really want to go back to St. Maarten for more shopping! LOVE the color changing t shirts and can't believe I didn't buy one for myself and everyone else back home for Christmas! Should have bought many more tropical dresses/outfits as gifts too (for $4 what a bargain). Next time we'll just excursion in St. Thomas and shop in St. Maarten!

I do have to say the Catamaran was a lot of fun -- snorkeling was terrible but we had 4 hours with no kids! They didn't even miss us and went back to the clubs that night! As nervous as I was to leave them there it worked out great -- I'd do it again!

Annika did have a good time playing in the pool with Clare. She's a cutie! Would love a picture of my brood ~ thanks. I always see other parents with four kids and can't believe I probably look like that!! LOL

When can we go back!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As much as I'd like to do the Western I really am partial to the Eastern! Seems the Western would be more of a party atmosphere and done without kids?
