Just a quick hello from another sickie! I got a horrible sinus infection on Monday, the day we brought Kaleigh home. We have had an interesting week, to say the least.
Jerry got a crash course in parenthood! He had to work from home to take care of both of us. I am still sick, but at least Kaleigh is finally adjusting to a new home! She actually slept last night, yeah!!!! Jerry went into work today and Kaleigh is actually napping right now. Yesterday she was up from 5AM till 2:30 PM. She would not sleep and was not in a good mood o say the least!

Glad to hear Katie is home. I have asthma, but not severe, but it is being affected by my sinus infection.

I still need to get my pictures developed, I haven't been out of the house since Monday.

Thank you so much for the pics! The group photos are really good! And yes, Ian, Oliver and DH Greg are in the background of the last hockey picture you sent! Of course we would not have missed the hockey! I did remember seeing Turner there!

Hey Denine -- welcome to parenthood!

Glad Katie is home -- any thing you have to do and have her home is better than being at the hospital!

I went back to work today. Hacking with a burning throat but made it through the day.

I have more pictures. Does anyone want any copies of non people pictures? I have a terrific one of the bow of the ship, the welcome home sign, Dessert buffet, great rainbow in the sky...

Perditta is back to her old self. She loves her mother again. Did I tell you all that my neighbor who was cat sitting ended up having her appendix out while I was gone? 62 years old! Never too late. She went to work on Wed. I told her she was nuts!

Hi Denine, been wondering about you. So sorry that you are sick. Cross our fingers that Kaleigh doesn't get it! I am sure she will adjust and start sleeping more soon.

Bonnie, hope you get well soon. Don't forget the vitamin C. Ted is starting to show signs now. I have a lot of pics of Magan's Bay and am going to send them to Jeanne. I don't do computers. Sorry. I am sure she will share. Thank you for sharing your pictures!

I feel like it has been weeks since we were on the cruise. I am exhausted from the work week and supervising all of Turner's homework and make-up work. But hopefully next week will get a little better.

I'm gonna look at the Magic tomorrow in port and dream a little!!!

Hey! Look at me! Kids are in bed and I have some free time. Yea. Life might just resume after all! Doc said this morning, that Katie still hasn't turned the corner exactly, but I think she looks tons better. Sleep and food do wonders. Ben finally caught it. We were so blessed that he was spared for as long as he was. Two sick parents at the same time would have been awful. Now he gets all weekend to sleep.

Denine. Hang in there. Maybe you and the baby can just hang out and cry together for a spell. Always makes me feel better. Oh, just thought of another perk... you always get a real good nose blow, after a cry! LOL Heck of an initiation. It's all worth it of course.

Sandy, the kids got the Get Well cards today. That was so sweet. Katie got hers first and I didn't expect one for Cody, so here he was jumping all around me saying "did I get one too, is there one for me"...etc. I'm handing him junk mail from politicians and so forth, then I see the one for him too! He was SO excited.
They both really enjoyed them. Thank you.

Everyone, I have read Katie all of your well wishes and she appreciated them very much.

What a cool group you all are. It's fun now to read posts and have an actual face with expressions in mind as I read.
I'm off to my wonderful, wonderful bed now. There's no place like home, there's no place like home ...

Hi everyone! I am soooooooooo glad to hear Katie is doing better! It is horrible being sick and worst yet..... it's horrible for the parents when they have a sick child! I'm just so very happy for you and Katie! And to the rest of the family,glad to see that everyone is starting to get back on track.

Schrolls, I would love to see your pics and anyone elses if they have them, Dis 'ers and non disn'ers pics. I should have ours by the end of the weekend so I will have them to TRY to send out to anyone who wants them.

I really miss all of you. I keep watching our video of the cruise and wish we were still there. It seems like it's been a year since the cruise!

I'm so glad to see everyone still here on the boards! We'll have to look for Darren soon! Hopefully he will check the board when he gets back from disney.

Katie-Thank heavens! You gave us all a scare! Everyone I work with sends well wishes! They don't know about pixie dust so here's some from me ***** or close enough anyway.

Turner-I got your thanks-I love it! Now the fun begins with school but it pays to study. IT really is kinda fun knowing stuff when you get older.

Laurie the lurker-visit us more often...I have a terrific picture of you and hubby if you would like me to email it to you PM your email address.

Sally-started the first page of my scrapbook! Yeah! It takes me hours to do one page do to planning and changing etc. I envy those that can knock out several pages in an hour. I shouldn't be so fussy. The first is the hardest though 'cause you want that initial impact.

When do you think they will kick us out of here? I hope not until Darren and Krista get back. Will they look for us????

Hi, everyone. I can't see the Magic in port - I'm sad!

I really miss the snorkeling and the desserts. Not to mention a few quiet moments alone with Paul while Turner was in the Oceaneer's Lab.

Paul is not surprised that he ranks below the snorkeling and the desserts. A woman has to have her priorities! He doesn't appreciate it, he doen't like it but he does understand it and knows he has to deal with it. (I'm typing his comments if you can't tell!)

We'll be busy with hockey the rest of the day. I'll try to log in late tonight and maybe I'll catch the night owls (you know who I am talking about)!
