Roll Call. Oct.19,02 Cruisers Continued...

Rice cereal part 2: When someone doesn't swallow well, we thicken everything. So why do they have you thin the cereal? I made it thicker yersterday and I think Kaleigh actually consumed some of it. Will see how part 3 goes today. She sleep through the night and has for some time. She is just really hungry in the evening. She takes 7-8 ounces of formula before bed.

I am working on the laundry and the cleaning. Tonight it is the grocery store. I have to work in the morning and then pack. The pet sitter coame today for the key.

Sue: You had better warm up the joint. We were looking forward to 60 degrees once we got to Charlotte.

A spring trip? We're going to Disney in May.

I am still coughing, but the sinus infection is almost gone. At least the bronchitis didn't kick up my asthma this time. Kaleigh still has the sniffles. I am hoping that once we get some decent weather, we will both be better.

It is snowing again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Huh, ceilings? Don't really know, Garry won't let me paint! I tried painting once (the baby's room when it was Makenzie's) and he had to go back and repaint it. It wasn't that bad. I just don't put enough paint on the rollers to cover the walls. I always feel like I'm gonna rum out of paint. I am getting better! When my kitchen is done, I will attempt to repaint the kitchen. I actually like to paint!

Well Garry's back is still killing him. I think he is actually going to go to the doctor's today. Hopefully it won't be too serious because he has gone through SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much lately.

Hey Garry, hope your back is getting better. Nothing worse than a back injury! Can't sit, can't stand. Can only be miserable. Both my daughter, Stacey, and I suffer from it. We hide our prescriptions from each other. When we need them, we NEED them!

Didn't spend too much money. Guess will have to find more to buy tonight at the Disney outlet. Do you think my plan will work?

Julie, I am just like you. A very poor painter and I just cause more work for Ted.

Hey gang! Yesterday was spent IN BED!! I couldn't even lift my head. I guess those swollen glands were infected! Am now on penacillin (I can't spell it!) since I was able to drag myself to the Dr. today. I feel like a new person after only 2 doses. Gotta love those drugs!!!!!!!!! Of course I'm ready for bed NOW but........

If you are still collecting recipes I promise I will send some tomorrow night.

Garry, maybe you should think about replacing that back of yours . Seriously, sorry about the pain. I only had back pain when I was pregnant (for about 5 years ) and it was terrible! How can you stand it????

Bonnie - PAINT YOUR CEILING so Sandy can put Ted back to work!

Denine - my kids always ate their rice cereal thick.

Julie you and my Greg must have attended the same painting school. I don't let him paint anything anymore!!!

Sandy-Don't count on the kitchen being completed anytime soon! LOL! Unless I can get Julie to come for a visit this weekend to help me paint the ceilings!

Barb-I know why mom hasn't posted! She met other people on the cruise that she likes better than us! (That should get her back to defend herself) Glad to see you checked in though. Now, if we can get Patty back here!! Did you get your ressies done yet for next years trip?

Just want to let everybody know that Sandy won’t be able to spend any more money because we spent it all on the furniture and because Bonnie has not painted her ceiling.

Denine, I personal don’t know how or if I liked rice cereal or not but if this will help I like my oatmeal a little chunky. Oh by the way the computer does not like the way you spell your name so you will have to change the spelling so the computer will be happy.

Diana, glad to hear you are feeling better. Keep taking those drugs.

Lori, when are you going to Mama Mia? Have Ben take a picture of you if you are going to wear the boa and tiara. If Ben won’t take the picture use the timer on your camera. I have done that a few times. You definitely get some interesting pictures it you are not fast enough before e the flash goes off.

Jeanne, have you figured out how to clear the cookies on your computer. If not let me know and we will call you and try to help you out.

Bonnie, I see that you are on so I assume you are happy with the response with your request to have people start posting again. How are the ceilings coming?

Julie, glad to hear that your kitchen is progressing fine. Did you ever hear from the insurance as to what they are going to do with your window that was leaking?

Garry, hope the night shift is going well with you. Sorry to hear about your back. Hopefully it will get better quick. How is the sleeping going during the remodeling?

Laurie, how is it going trying to get John to get on the boards?

Darren, I’m sure you are enjoying your cruise. Wish Sandy and I were there with you.

Well, I broke down and went to the hospital today and they basically told me that I strained my back. I got some meds, some of which they were very explicit about making sure I knew that they would knock me out when I took them. They told me not to work Saturday night and Sunday, then I have two scheduled days off. Hopefully it will be better by Wednesday. I have seen more of the hospital and doctors in the last nine months than I have the rest of my prior life. And if you knew how I felt about hospitals and doctors, you would know it takes a lot for me to agree to see either.

Ted, when you asked how long does it take to paint a ceiling, are we talking about Bonnie doing it, or the rest of us? Makes a difference (obviously) you know. Maybe she just enjoys the fumes.

Julie's hitting the RUM again!!! Oh no! Would that be a PUI (painting under the influence)?

Doctor today said he doesn't think I have asthma. HOORAY!!! He agreed with the original diagnosis of bronchitis. He added 25 days of prednisone to my drug cocktail. Six today, six tomorrow, 4 on Sunday, ...... you all know the story. Now, I have an excuse to eat anything in sight. He PROMISED I would feel a lot better before the end of the weekend. If I don't, I'm thinking of ways to torture doctors!!!

Going to my sister's house tomorrow for a cookout (eat in) for my niece's birthday (2 years old) then to another hockey game.

Turner and I went to the hockey game tonight and our home team won. Turner caught part of a broken stick as it flew into the stands. Thank God it didn't hit him and hurt him!!!

I like my rice cereal with marshmallow cream, otherwise known as Rice Crsipy Bars!!

For Bonnie - nix the ceilings and get on with your life. Who looks up anyway!!!

For Sandy - Spend, spend, spend. You only live once. Enjoy it!

Hi everyone-

Well they came and fixed the phone line so we are back on the computer but I am still feeling yuckie....

I cough a lot....I kinda of had a sore throat while at WDW and then on New Year's eve it poured down rain and even with a poncho we got soaked and the water was over our shoes so just about everyone of us caught a cold. Mine went to my chest and there it sits....

I didn't even leave the ship when it docked....I slept a lot, ate but it didn't have much taste and went to some shows. Even with how I felt I still had a good time. I have decided I just like to cruise only I prefer the 7 day ones....and I prefer the Magic.

We had good servers but they just weren't like the ones we had on the Magic...they were outstanding!

I am glad to be home though and now I am 3 cruises behind in my scrapbooking. I did the Alaska cruise for my son and one for each of my 3 granddaughters....now it is my turn.

Garry- I hope your back starts feeling better. If one of those drugs they gaby you was flexeril...look out!!!!! I had that when my son was 5...he kept asking me the same question over and over. I finally got upset with him and yelled saying " I told you!" He started crying and said I hadn't said anything! I promptly threw them down the toilet and suffered!


Laurie- I answered the thick or thin but it didn't take....medium consistency. Not thick or thin....just right.

I feel better this morning I think....it is too early...a little after 6 to tell.

Patti does income tax for people so between that and work she is probably really busy....her girls are really excited about the 2004 cruise...doing research about it. I think half the fun is planning something so they are having a ball.

If he is really out, do what you want (remodeling the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms)and then tell him later that you talked about it and he said "whatever you want to do honey is fine with me" and you thought he meant it!! I'm just kidding, he'd find out later when he read this!!!

Bonnie - where are you thins morning? I had coffee without you. That's right!! You are painting ceilings this morning. I bet you even got up extra early to get it out of the way. You go girl!!
