Forgive me, Bonnie. I saw your two postings and thought I read that they both were from last night. You're vendicated!! You were on last yesterday and first today!!!! BUT - you should have been doing the ceilings!!!!!

I was thinking the same thing. Bonnie, you NEED to be painting the ceiling. Your new nickname is going to be SLACKER. Come on, help me get my kitchen done. We are going broke with my attitude of spending money until it gets done. What are friends for? It isn't like me to beg!!!! Do you feel bad? I'll tell you what. Ted and I will paint your ceilings for FREE! Yes, I said free. All you have to do is supply the paint and airfare. Not a bad deal, huh? Well, we will need food and lodging, too.

Good news for Susan! But, now what are we going to do with Sally, Garry, Denine, Diana and whoever else?

I was wondering the same thing about Darren. Not sure when he is flying back.

The store last night was very disappointing. Last year they had a bunch of kitchen goodies. This year it is mainly clothing. Sorry, but I am beyond DisneyLAND! Has to be WDW for sure! Geez, now you know what I am really like. A spoiled brat!

Ok, if Ted submits a couple of recipes, can we get the other guys to do the same?

Sally, we much prefer the 7 day cruise over the land/sea package, too. Don't think that we will take the Wonder again. We really like the Wonder and the staff but like the 7 days much better.

I couldn't paint the ceilings today... I got my carpets shampooed! I also now know how to open a computer and look at the video card. I now know what a video card looks like!
Here's how I know:
I put my computer back together after the carpet man left and it wouldn't work so I called my friend Walt.
He told me to check the video card...so I did, well...lo and behold I plugged the monitor in the wrong port! DUH!!!

OK... probably will get the ceilings done tomorrow...I hope...son was supposed to come over to help but he wanted to come today and I told him no due to carpet cleaning...now he may not come over!!!! I NEED HELP!!!!!!!!!!

Good drugs huh Garry???
I could tell you a story of hospitals residents who danced around a patients room during the night singing. THe next day on rounds she told the attending there were little green men dancing in my room last night...Psych consult time!!!!!

Today's a big day in Philadelphia! Fly Eagles Fly On the Road to Victory........

Worked Thursday & Friday & then went out Friday after work with DD#3 to Los Amigos (a great Mexican restaurant). Of course, Joyce drank Margaritas & I drank Coronas! Maybe that's why the food is so good!

Took me forever to catch up on the postings. Keep up the good work posting TED. Sorry about your back Garry - are you just getting old and your parts are wearing out???????? I can say that since I'm older than you!

Rice cereal: Kaleigh actually took in more than landed on her bib. Mostly she just looks at me wondering what is in her mouth and what is she supposed to do with it?

Darren: I know you are not home yet, but welcome back and I can't wait to hear all about your trip.

Bonnie: I am going to miss what your counter says while I am gone. Are those ceilings done yet?

Garry: I am the Queen of back problems! I had a spinal fusion when I was 17 and spent 3 months in a body cast. I have taken many drugs over the years for my back. I can't even remeber them all. My current drug of choice is Vioxx 25 mg. I hope you feel better soon!

Sue: Glad to hear you are feeling better. I hope you stay that way!

Mom: Hope you feel better soon. Sounds like you had a great time. We have been to WDW in the pouring rain with water over our shoes.

The packing is almost done. I left Jerry a list of things to do while I am at work tomorrow. I should be able to sneak out about 1/2 hour early. I can't wait to get out of the bitter cold. Charlotte is going to feel warm and Florida is going to feel like a veritable heatwave.

This is my last post before we leave in the morning. I will miss chatting with you while we are gone.

PS Did a fun cooking workshop this morning with some child care providers. I came up with all sorts of things to cook in an Easy Bake oven and sandwich maker. Maybe I'll send some of those recipes along.
We made omelets, corn dogs, pigs in a blanket, and carrot cake in the sandwich maker. We made garlic cheese biscuits, banana cake and cinnamon sugar biscuits in the Easy Bake. We also did play dough and Flubber. Too fun.

Have a fun Saturday night, you see where I am spending mine.

Bonnie, sorry I didn't make it over to paint this weekend. I had the wrong weekend marked. I'm coming next weekend, right?

Have a good day, and I'll check back in tomorrow after the visit to the hospital to see my dad. He has been in for a week and on Friday they sent him down for a bone scan of the bad foot. He will get the results on monday. We hope that the scan will show that the staf infection isn't completely into the bone yet. We shall see. I'm not any type of a medical person, but a bone scan makes me believe that the doctor's think it has gone into the bone, right?

Good morning all!

Another busy day here. Of course...the ceilings...I'm thinking about it!!

Julie- They just did the bone scan??? I would not want to be reviewing that chart for utilization! What took them so long!!! How is the foot doing? Did the streak go away at all? Are the blood sugars under control? Is he still on IV anitbiotics? Can you tell I work for the insurance company? LOL!

My bonea are aching today!! Too much furniture moving etc...the carpets look better at least. Of course the black spots on my son's room rug didn't come out. I think it must have been shoe polish! DOn't you just love kids! Even at 25!

Well, to work.

I'm here Sue!! Where are you????? it is 8:30 AM here so I will remember that I posted. LOL!
