That Darren.
He needs to win Who Want's to be a Mouseketeer this week, then use his free cruise for a 3-peat next week! (I'll have to run over to his thread and mention that) OK, but first...
MOMMA MIA !!!
The cast was myself, my girlfriend and her wacky older sister. We went out to a yummy Italian restaurant for dinner, I had a scrumptious artichoke/dijon salmon dish with sauteed mushrooms. We polished off a bottle of wine and headed for the lightrail train. It popped us off 2 blocks from the theater and we had to run for it. I was in a black leather dress, high black boots and fur coat. No boas, although I did see one woman in a pretty, white dress with a short double boa on. Looked very classy.
So, we climbed the several stories to our nose bleed seats, were the very last people seated before the doors closed and the show began. It was just like Laurie told me, a comedy with some cute interjections of ABBA songs. I didn't expect the twist to the story at the end either. The singing after the play was a blast. The whole cast was on stage singing the better know songs and the audience all stood, danced, did the 'finger pointed arm swing' (see that girl.....) etc., in unison. Then we just partied in the theater for a bit and headed back to the train.
Nothing TOO wild and crazy. We're not exactly at the caliber of wild womenness as Laurie and her friends, after all. LOL
Thanks for the idea Laurie, it was a very good night.
