Had a really fun day. Shopped for Valentine's Day gifts for my "Forever Valentine's" (my children & their grandparents) and then got invited for a turkey dinner over my Mom's and even Dodger went to dinner.

New Jersey is expecting more snow on Sunday night. I can't believe it! Enough is enough. I wanted it for Christmas & got my wish but this is getting ridiculous!:earseek: :earseek: :earseek:

Bonnie: Hope you are having fun tonight! You really are a jewel!

Everybody get & stay healthy. Have a great Saturday night (esp. Denine & Jerry) and a good Sunday. Toodles:earsgirl:  Jeanne Russian-Wolf

Who all snorkeled on the cruise? Stacey is going on the Eastern on her honeymoon and they are big snorkel fans. Where do you advise her to go? Lori, you snorkeled in St. John and loved it, right?

I really, really have dry skin right now. What lotion do you guys like? What do you nurses recommend?

Thinking of Denine and Jerry on their date. Hope you are having a time of your life!

Wow, Jeanne posted twice in a day. Pretty cool. Sounds like you had a great day! Because I don't have my kitchen in working order, we had KFC. Big deal!!!!!!

Nighty night!

Sandy-I if you have a place called "The Body Shop" out there they have something called Body Butter...It comes in different intensities...I get the one for very dry skin...It works great also comes in all sorts of scents. It isn't a lotion but comes in a tub. great to put on right after the shower.

The party is over...it wasn't too bad...my son and daughter in law ended up going so I got to see them. The dentist's husband is a hoot! He is a Navy man born in CA like me so we had a lot in common. I hung out with them most of the night. He is really down to earth which was a nice change. Even go a kiss on the hand good night! LOL! Then a sniff...his wife wears the same perfume! LOL! His dad and mine may have crossed paths as they were both career Navy. So not so bad after all. And an early night to boot.

Thank you Jeanne and Susan and Sandy for the compliment. I don't see it but then again not too strong in the self confidence area.

Have a good evening all!

Sandy - here are two I use: (1) AVON Moisture Therapy Hand Cream For Extremely Dry Skin and (2) Curel therapeutic Moisturizing Cream. I can't ay that either one is the miracle cure but I think they help.

Went to the dinner celebration for my nephew's Eagle award. Actually saw his dad (my brother) get pretty emotional. My brother earned the Eagle and is his scout master. I learned tonight that only 2% of all boy entering scouts go on to earn their Eagle award!! I had no idea it was so low. {Cody - keep at it and you can do it too!} Tomorrow, my nephew will actually receives the award at church. I can't wait. I am so proud of him!

We went snorkeling on the 5 Star St. john Snorkel & Beach Adventure. We had a really good time but the snorkeling time is never enough!! We also snorkeled at Castaway Cay but do it very early in the family side or it gets pretty cloudy with the sand stirred up. When we snorkeled at Serenity Bay back in 1998 it was much clearer all day! Hope that helps.

Later!

Hi everyone! Glad to hear that your evening wasn't as bad as you thought Bonnie! Been running aournd to day trying to finish the last minute stuff for the Big Guy's birthday party tomorrow. Still not feeling 100% but gotta keep movin!

Glad to see you back and posting Jeanne! I always get a big kick out of seeing your "toodles"! It always brings a smile to my face!

Sandy, glad to see your kitchen had some hard work done to it today. I wish I could say the same for mine. We were waiting for the guy who was doing it to get moving and get the counter tops, but he hasn't gotten them yet, so I went and ordered them from someone else. Someday I will have a finished kitchen.

Trunk Bay on St. John's is wonderful for snorkeling. I would suggest your daughter and son in law go on their own instead of an excursion. We went (not last time but the time before) and we did it without an excursion and it worked out better. We were there longer then the group who booked the excursion.

Denine and Jerry I hope you had a WONDERFUL time tonight!

More snow on it's way!!!! What is up with this? I like snow but I have had enough now.

Staying home today. Maybe painting? LOL! We'll see. Just the thought of doing the ceilings makes me shudder!
But I do have to keep up with Ted.

Have a good day all...Happy to hear you are doing better Julie.

Where are the lurkers? I think it's time you checked in! The RCM will be sent out to look for you! Hey! Good idea! Any one who lurks too long will have the RMC postcard sent to them...then they get to send it on to the next lurker etc!!! Sound good?

Good morning

Well yesterday I decided to tear my coat closet apart...painted the CEILING and shelves and papered the bottom half. I put a long hanging rod in to put the summer jackets on and now it is much more organized and all back together again. I only wish all my closets were that easy to do. Dread doing the walkin ones....

We haven't gotten anymore snow and what we did get is slowly melting. They said snow for the next week but I will believe it when I see it....I can see where we will only be able to water a couple times a week this summer again....not only are we not getting the snow and rain we need but the Springs is growing so fast that there just isn't going to be enough water.

Did you do your ceilings Bonnie? Get your yellow pages out, look up a painter and let him climb to the sky and do it.....you shouldn't be climbing that high anyway....it is hard painting ceilings that aren't high..

I think we are going on the same cruise we went on before. It seems like so far in the future to even be thinking about booking but I guess it isn't.

Hope everyone is feeling better...have a good day

Did the normal Sunday morning routine - Church then food shopping. I kind of like when life is boring & routine.

Hope you all have a great Sunday!

I have to post before I can bring up the most recent pages. So my first posting is just to get on & read the last two pages. Sounds crazy but it is the only way to get to the last posting.

A treatment for dry skin: While your skin is still wet (fresh out of the shower or tub) apply baby oil or the new baby gel. It keeps the moisture in.

How was the "date" Denine & Jerry?

Glad you had a good time Bonski!

Hi Guys, thank you so much for all your answers to my questions! My skin has never been so dry. I knew a few of you snorkeled at St. John. I thought I had read that it was the best place over St. Thomas. Julie, I am begining to realize that doing everything on your own is better than an excursion. Both money and time factor in.

Maybe, Krista will check in. I haven't seen her on the computer for awhile and I noticed that she just got on. Hello if you are out there. Diana, where are you????

I think that Ted and I have decided to book October 23, 2004. Hopefully, a few of you can join us. If the reunion cruise is booked another time, perhaps, we can change.

I wish you would hire the ceilings out, Bonnie. I know we all harrass you but they are soooooo high.

Until later........

October 23, 2004 sounds good to me!!! Are you still checking on the possibility of group rates if there is enough of us, or are we going to just book on our own?

Have they come out with their rates yet for this far in advance??

Let us know.......WE ARE SO EXCITED!!!!

The computer is going in for a new component so I will not be posting until tomorrow night or Tuesday. No phone calls, no need to worry. Have a good Monday all.

Thanks for the warning, Bonnie. I know not to worry!!

But where's Lori, Krista, and Diana? Bonnie, maybe you should send out the Mountie!!LOL

I've been working on Paul's business books and gathering all the necessary stuff for the accountant to do the corporate taxes. Yuk! I guess next I need to help my Dad get his stuff together. His shouldn't be difficult.

Work should not be quite as bad this week. But, one never knows what a Monday will bring.

I'm going to Myrtle Beach with a girlfriend this weekend. I sure hope the weather is nice so maybe we can walk on the beach. Maybe the following Friday or Saturday night we can do another wine tasting. Better yet, let's just call it a gathering of friends and chat away the evening again.

Later!

What's the matter, Bonnie. Don't you want to talk to any of us on the phone? I could get a complex over that one. But---thanks for the warning. No Mountie postcard for you!

Well, hello, Laurie! Happy to see you back!

Susan, take me with you to Myrtle Beach. Boy does that sound heavenly!

Sandy - come join me. If you fly in to Myrtle Beach, I'll pick you up at the airport. We'll be there from Saturday morning through Monday mid day. Is this tempting you?? I hope so!

Good Morning Everyone!

Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. I got a lot accomplished on my basement. Tiffany set up out "girls" craft room. We are going to paint and stencil it. I am moving the computer downstairs what a lot of work.

Hope lots of us can book at the same time for the reunion cruise.
We are pretty flexible. I do like the extra day at sea and the lower cost of the Eastern.

Sandy, we snorkeled from the beach next to Coral World. Coki Beach. The area is rich with reefs and a large variety of gorgeous fish. They are no doubt there because Coral world nurtures them. It's not far from the underwater observatory and where Coral World takes people SNUBA-ing. It's super close to that end of the beach, we didn't even use or need fins. In the AM there are Scuba groups camped out on that section of beach, but we arrived just as they were leaving and got a perfect area with semi-shade, just for ourselves. (Enjoyed our 'room service' picnic there). The para-sailing company we used picked us up from a dock nearby also.
I've heard that Trunk Bay is very nice, but I haven't seen it to compare to. I think we lucked out by having the snorkels with us and having the parasail plans work out all at that location. Further along the beach are some venders, we had a digital picture taken of us and put onto a tote bag with a cool pic of the Magic on the other side, all for $20. (I think). A good souvenir.

OK, back to crazyland. Gotta be ready to sort 102 cases of Girlscout cookies in my livingroom tomorrow, and I have a no good dirty rotten cold! It will be gone tomorrow!

See ya, Lori

We had an awesome time skiing in Santa Fe. Clare's pictures are on the web, will try to link them in next.
I haven't had time to read all of the pages, will do that next. Just had to check in.
Missed you all.
Krista
