Garry-How much do you gap the spark plugs when you tune your car?? OOHH ... I know a thing or 2 about cars!!! I used to change my own oil when I had a Honda. Does that count? I can also fix plumbing, have replaced light switches, Laid ceramic tile for my kitchen floor... I can talk shop if you like. and yes... I CAN COOK TOO!!!! Jeanne!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sandy, I saw that Jiminy on another DISers signature and did the Rt click/properties thing to get the web address that I included in the post. So someone has managed to use that one. They were in the Digital camera thread here in Community boards. I was looking at the cruise board for a bit last night. There's debates on how the teens act in Common Grounds with CM's apparent blind eye, and if it's right for people who got the bug to ask for another cruise. Hummm, I realized that I don't miss all of that. I'm happy right here.

Beef Jerky. Katie would eat a whole bag a day if I'd let her. It's one way to get protein into her. Her other passion is for Tofu, so I can't complain too much. I have made it in the oven. My friendly butcher who is full blood Indian told me that the only way to do it right was by hanging it outside on a hot day, yummm. Can you say... bloody flypaper? I politly declined the instructions and asked him just to slice the dang meat very thin for me, thank you very much. I didn't continue making it as the cost savings didn't add up enough for the time it took. Sandy's way sounds interesting. I almost bought a food dehydrator at a garage sale because the box listed beef jerky as a use. Sandy, you'll have to tell me more about it. Could I use ground turkey or buffalo?
Sandy, I should have the reprints back in a few more days then I'll get yours to you. I just noticed there were two of that one of the kids already, sorry I didn't just give you one then and there but maybe the reprint will come out better. I asked for lightening.

Scrapbookers. you will be SO proud of me. I'm up to CC day in my book. For the past two mornings I've put in a DVD and started in on the book. With the exception of when I was crying at the end of Bridges of Madison County, I was pretty persistent about the book. Now I'm just waiting on some reprints and I'll finish it up. Need to run back to the library for more movies though

Okee Dokey. Time to go. I start call at 1AM and they accidentally called me a few minutes ago to come in, I hope the other tech finishes everything up before 1 so I don't have to do. I need some sleep. Gotta take in the CAR tomorrow. Where's that Bonnie when I need her. It sounds like there's a bunch of crickets chirping under the hood.

Lori I know what you mean. I visited there recently. They can get pretty nasty sometimes. I was shocked at some of the responses I saw. I like it better over here. Here we just get a good laugh from Barb, Patty and Mom going back and forth!!!!!! LOL

Hi All! I've been slacking lately! The ankle is doing better. Luck that it din't screw my knee up. That's all I need now.

The cookbook is sounding like a go, sooooooooo if you all want to, send me your recipes and I'll start it UNLESS someone else wants to! I guess I'm the only slacker in the bunch. (ie I don't work a real job. I do sell pampered chef and work for a travel agency - so if anyone needs anything like that, you know where to find me)

Garry will be so proud of all of you and the beef jerky talk.
