My husband ad I will be celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary on the 17th!!(we spent our honeymoon in St. Thomas and we will actually be in St. Thomas on that day!!)WE also are counting down!!WE(just my family of 5 )will start our vacation 5 weeks from tomorrow in WDW! Joan S.

We are also going to be aboard on April 13th. My son is 11 and interested in e-mailing others his age before the cruise. We are traveling with friends who have 2 girls ages 9 and 13 and a boy 16. We have taken the three day cruise and loved it. We're looking forward to the 7.....3 days just wasn't long enough.

Our party of 6 - 2 families of 3 will be there too. Our DD will be 11 during the cruise & her friend is 10.

We are from CT. It looks like this is the school break for New Englanders! So there will be alot of kids on board to make friends with. This will be our 2nd 7 day Magic cruise. Our friends did the 4 day Wonder.

Can't wait!

- Linda :)

We will be there. First timers so we are really looking forward to it. We have not told our DS 10 1/2 and DD 6 1/2. We plan on telling them the day before we leave. It will be a first for them to be off the West coast so they will be so excited!!! (not that I am not... teehee). Glad to hear that others are as excited as we are!!! Counting the days.....

Add 7 more to the list, our sons are 10 and 6 and their sis is 8.

This is our second cruise, we did the wonder for 3 days 2 years ago, our inlaws are snowbirds, so when i saw the Florida resident rate, i called up and said... you have just won an all expense paid cruise on the Wonder, with your grandchildren.
Of course they couldn't refuse, the price was still lower with that rate for all of us than paying regular rate. I think i have started a new tradition.

sllhbrown,
what a great idea not telling them, we also pulled that off one year, we showed up at the airport and said... we are just stopping here for brkfast, they were shocked when we told them they were going to Disney.

Try to have your camera ready.

We thought that if we told them, they wouldn't leave us alone. We asked them in January where they would want to go if we went on vacation this year. They listed 4 places. We had them mark off one and then for the other 3, give 4 reasons for each place, why they wanted to go there. Then they were to narrow it down to 2 and we would then check into them. The Disney cruise and Hawaii were the two finalists. Little did they know that we had already booked the cruise. This was a way for us to be able to talk about it in front of them. We ordered the movie and got brochures, but we also got info on Hawaii. The cruise was their first choice, so they wont be disappointed. I am having a hard time not spilling the beans though! We check email every morning so we plan on sending them a Disney email postcard the morning we leave (we leave at midnite) that will invite them to go on the trip with us. That way they can tell their friends at school what they are doing for spring break! I will have my camera ready, thanks for mentioning that!

Hi. We can't wait until April 13th. We are 4 cruising. Me, DH, DD (9) and DS (10 almost 11)!!!!!!!
We did the same thing asked the kids where they wanted to go and narrowed it down, choose the cruise...but we told them. The anticipation is sometimes as sweet as the outcome.
See you onboard.

That is a great idea giving them a choice, i think it must make them feel really special, and just think Hawaii next year.
I remember when i was a kid it was grandmas or camping,
isn't life great?
Your lucky they both agreed on the same thing, we always have an odd man out w/3.

You can never go wrong with this cruise, it is for everyone. We received our documents today, it won't be long now!

Even with just 2 kids, they usually DONT agree, so we are very happy they both agreed on this! We received our docs yesterday too! I have had to hide them so the kids wont get any ideas. It just made me that much more excited. Hope to get to meet some of you on board!

Is everyone else as excited as I am? Everyone receive their docs? Has anyone started packing yet?

No docs yet!!! :( But I have started PACKING!:D Shopping??I am constantly doing that!;) It is still cold in RI so taking out those summer clothes feels great! And YES we are all very excited!:bounce: :bounce:

CT Husky Fans- we are from CT & are fans too( of course)! Where are you from? We are from Danbury, near NY State border.

We live in Wallingford :) ..north of New Haven..we are flying out of Bradley very, very early on 4/13 into Melbourne..how about you?

CT Husky Fans- We are going a few days early to get our WDW fix! We will be driving to Port on Sat.

We usually fly out of Bradley, but we got terrific fares out of JFK. It's about the same distance for us to go to Hartford or NY airports.

My SIL lives in Branford, not too far from you.

GO Huskys!!

I hope they have our beautiful ship fixed in time for our voyage!!

- Linda :)
