Yes, two Matthews can have fun together!!! We had to cancel our original plans for his birthday in November. This is way better though... We are staying in Orlando the night before. Not sure about the Disney Tags, won't be able to put them on until the morning of, don't want them to get taken away when I get off the plane...
Have you done this cruise/any cruise before?

We took the 7-day Western last year on Spring Break. We had
a great time and decided to do it again this year! The ship will
be crowded but the only time we noticed it last year was at the sail away party the first evening. Other than that the crowds were not that bad. Hopefully we will have the same luck this year!

We are staying at the Radison the night before.

We will have to get the Matthews to meet!

It's 5 degrees here in Jersey this morning, roads are covered with ice and I'm off to teach!! Thinking of the beach!!

Wow - less than 10 weeks til we leave for the World! Couple nights at the S&D and then onto the MAGIC! WOOHOO!

I think we got our excursion brochure several weeks ago!

Where do I get the excursion brochure? Does it come from the travel agent (DU) or from DCL direct?

My 9 year old son will be excited to meet your 9 and 10 year old sons! We so can't wait. We haven't seen our documents from our travel agent yet, either.

We haven't gotten anything except our travel insurance information. Each day I run to the mail...I want to look at it just to feel warm. Again, 14 degrees and snow is on the way! I think I'll go bathing suit shopping...

FanofDis - last time we got an excursion brochure directly from DCL (I think). It seems that we got it pretty early. Nothing here yet. I have a message into DU but haven't heard anything yet.

What are your plans the day before? Are you staying overnight in FL?

this is Monchichi still, I am just trying to see if my other user name was the problem why I could not post. Hope everyone is doing good 10 more weeks!!! times 2 pounds a week, ok we can all lose 20 pounds right!
Any idea on where we are going to meet?
I don't know if any of you got this, but I think at the Disney cruise site you can ask for a cruise vacation video to be mailed to you for free. It is only 10 or 15 min. long but has great pictures. Talk to you all soon.

Hey, Monchichi, I gave Gina the email address, she is gonna write this weekend I think. She has a very busy social schedule my daughter lol. She can't wait to go on the cruise. I'm looking forward to booking our excursions as well. We will be doing the Stingray and Dolphin excursion in St. Maarten, the submarine in St. Thomas, and the parasailing and snorkeling on Castaway Cay, they also want to ride those dopey looking big wheeled bikes on the water but I don't know if that is considered an excursion. I'm gonna have some bill before I even get on the boat lol. I know it is all gonna be worth it. By the way Monchichi, do you have early or late seating for dinner? We have late. Hope to chat with all of you soon.

I smiled when I saw you were a teacher too. PE, my good friend teaches that at highschool. Me, I love elementary. I am in special ed. More snow on the way, I'm dreaming of the cruise!!!

We are staying in Orlando on Friday night at the Clarion Hotel at the airport. We got a $34 rate through hotwire. We just got our excursion documents today! Can't wait until the 3rd of Feb. to make reservations!!
It's great to see all of the teachers that are cruising! I am a middle school principal----taught ms LA for 10 years first!

Hi,
Ahh, HS..I spent 4 years at an alternative HS doing math and History. Begged to move to elementary. Love it!! I work in a great district, incredible town, the whole nine yards. I've been there 2 years and still pinch myself...
I'm not sure about the shore excursions. My son wants to do the dolphin adventure, but I worry about the catamaran over to St. Johns. Read lots of posts of seasickness!! May opt for a beach chair on a resort. Some shopping. Any suggestions?
We are staying at the Holiday Inn Select for the night before and the night after. I'm sucking it up for each second of my break!! The best thing for my son is that his "official" break starts the following week. So he won't have to bring his homework!!

I have been teaching Elementary PE for about 15 y now....I started in HS then went to MS and have worked my way down to the little ones. Thats where I belong ...I get to "PLAY" all day.......more snow on the way .....we have to make up 3 days already...hope they don't take away from our Easter break.

We will be on this cruise with another family. Between the two families, we will have 6 girls: 11, 11, 13, 14, 16 and 16! I hope we can keep everyone happy. We're very excited about it!

Here in Jersey we have more snow today!! If this keeps up my official easter break will be off!! EEKK...looks like I'll need a sub for the week!!LOL!!
Anyone just hanging out on the beach in St. Maarten?? I'm not sure what to do there. Was thinking of dolphin swim but the thought of the short actual time for swimming with the dolphins just doesn't seem worth the entire day. Not sure, but need to decide by Tuesday!!
