Someone on FB says they were ROFRd today with AKV at $92/pt on a medium sized contract.

See. I knew I paid $116+ for a reason (just kidding, would sooo rather have taken a shot at it at $92). Luckily, the odds are still in their favor to get another one at a good price. Even when really focused on a resort, Disney does not take many...

That's really true. And this one went thru from Offer to Closing really quickly, which made it far less painful! Sweetheart Sellers e-notarized their documents within a day of receipt woohoo - gotta love the e-notary system and escrows/sellers who use it!

I would have purchased around 25 points Direct vs the 40 I got thru Resale, so for the extra MF each year (around $150) I can book a 1 Bedroom Savanna View room instead of Studio Savanna rooms for my trips. A deal maker with a family of FIVE

Just a random fact: I checked Recorded Deeds 9/1/2024 thru 10/3/2024 for Disney Direct Animal Kingdom and the Fort Wilderness Cabins... Cabins: 66 Deeds AKV: 72 Deeds - I didn't compare the Points sold since this was more "interesting" than "useful" info

I assume they are also asking for 2025 dues upfront to be paid at the time of closing because 1500 seems alot for just closing costs.

Agreed that's why countered the sellers counter because it came to be about 6 a point more then the boards closing cost so I wasn't willing to go much higher for a contract with no '24 points.

This is our first DVC contract. After staying at RIV twice, BCV once, and visiting other resorts, we are 1000% confident in our purchase and beyond OK with the restrictions. Nothing quite like Riviera at WDW. We would live there if they’d let us.

Hoping we can get these points in time to book a 1 bedroom for late May.
