Hey there, I just wanted to post in here about our contact that got approved from the last thread. We closed on October 6, and the transfer happened on October 22. I was able to call DVC yesterday and they gave me my member number as well as my club id and activation code to login to the DVC site. We are officially members and I cant wait to get our letter in the mail!

Done. Here's hoping they don't take it! I only have to pay maintenance for 2017, so that's not due at closing. I really wanted an August use year, because I already have 210 points at VB with an August use year.

AKV is a rare buyback target. You should be fine. Fingers crossed!

I contacted them and they said that Disney decides ROFR on Fridays and they will call me tomorrow. Tomorrow makes 32 days

That's correct. However, on that note, @hagainps, if you're not going to take a trip before 2/28/17, you should ask the owner to bank the 2016 points ASAP! The banking deadline for those points is 10/31/16.

From my understanding of the contract, the 2016 are already banked. The 2015 points won't expire until February 28, 2017, as they were already banked as well, unless I'm missing something. I was under the impression that 2015 were banked October 2015, which puts them into the 2016 UY, which won't expire until Feb. 28, 2017, correct??

The contract states:
THERE ARE 89 BANKED POINTS FROM MARCH 2015 IN MARCH 2016 AND 200 BANKED POINTS FROM MARCH 2016 AND 200 POINTS COMING MARCH 2017 AND 200 POINTS COMING MARCH 2018 AND FORWARD.
