It's official...went to ROFR today!

marisabuzz---$112-$18620-160-BLT-Mar-121/15, 0/16, 320/17, 160/18-Seller pays 2016 MF- sent 10/21

Sometimes I wonder if the sellers of the contracts posted for ROFR are on here and watch these threads.

Anyway, good luck to the rest of those still waiting!
Good luck :flower1:!!!

KSkywalker17---$130-$6885-50-PVB-Feb-0/15, 50/16, 50/17- sent 10/17, passed 10/21!

My mother-in-law bought the family a direct Poly contract a few months ago but could only afford a modest amount of points. This should complete all the Poly points we need, now I'm on the hunt for another resale bargain at BLT or VGF (my family is addicted to the monorail).
Congrats!!! But how can you possibly ever have enough Poly points :teeth:!

Did I just unnecessarily cause trouble? Sorry about that. I don't know what came over me there. (#SABorBust)

Really great deal. Much less valuable deals have been bought back recently, so congrats!

Ya, TOTALLY accidental. Mm-hmm.

TROUBLEMAKER!!!!!!!!!

Does a longer wait tend to lean one way or the other?
maybe it just means you're getting a really good deal and it moved to their maybe pile?

Honestly though, after watching this forum and results for the last 6 months, anytime you think you recognize a pattern, they seem to flip it on its head. For example, back in May/June -- hearing back quickly meant you got ROFRd. Passing was taking right at the 30 days...then it started only taking about 22 or 23 days...and then back in September, things started passing very quickly, and taken contracts would hear back later.

This is merely conjecture -- but I could see them having a system wherein they plug the contracts into a worksheet and it spits out a TAKE, PASS, or HOLD. The "takes" being anything they can easily flip for more than $65 a point profit(i.e., difference between direct and contract price), the "passes" being anything that is less than $40 a point, and "holds" being somewhere in between...or if maybe they are trying to build inventory up.

Also -- there is speculation that the UY changes throughout the course of the year, so it's possible that their sorting system might prefer certain UYs at any given time. Who knows though.
