I got the AKV for 100 a point. Which isn't bad by any means! But since then I've seen contracts with lower prices, more points, or both. Or seen contracts at higher end resorts getting close to what I paid which might've been worth it. But then again I also see many AKV or SSR or even OKW that are priced higher than what I paid. Lots of fluctuation! And no buyer's remorse. The meme was really just meant as a joke because I'm sure most resale buyer's have that feeling at some point! What did u buy? Does the price per point tend to fluctuate? At least the lowest offer price.
Just curious why did you chose akv vs SSR?I got the AKV for 100 a point. Which isn't bad by any means! But since then I've seen contracts with lower prices, more points, or both. Yeah so although I just bought in I've been analyzing and going back and forth quite a bit for a few years now. What ultimately made me go with AKV is that the upfront cost (which was a huge factor in my decision) wasn't too far off from SSR. For the delta between the two I would much rather have the opportunity to book the value and concierge rooms at AKV which needs that 11 month priority. If I could snag a value studio a few times it would stretch out my points nicely. Also I have a young child who is very much into animals so that is also a plus for AKV. I obviously want to use these as SAPs but if we HAD to stay there and nowhere else then we'd be ok with that. But we do travel in off peak times and I am really hoping that 7 month availability works out. So all in all AKV, especially for the price we got it at, was the perfect contract for us.Just curious why did you chose akv vs SSR?

Hey they banked them and I clarified with the broker that I have until July 31 2024 to use itUpdate. Passed 09/05
MommyCMickey,
Didn't those 160 points from August 2022 expire on 7/31/23Or did they bank them into the August 2023 use year giving you 320 points in 2023?
Congrats on passing ROFR.MommyCMickey---$121-$21619-160-AKV-Aug-160/22, 160/23, 160/24, 160/25-Buyer pays NO Dues o- sent 8/21
I have been tracking certain resorts and specific room categories and it seems to me you really have to work to get access. The value rooms and even standard rooms at certain resorts. Even being an owner does not mean you will be able to get them at 11 month.Yeah so although I just bought in I've been analyzing and going back and forth quite a bit for a few years now. I will say though I was darn close to going direct with VGF! I think for the amount we travel and when we travel that this will work out nicely...for now.
The value rooms are not that bad, at least not the studios at AKV.I have been tracking certain resorts and specific room categories and it seems to me you really have to work to get access. I don’t think I want to work that hard to get those rooms.

I don’t think I want to make booking at exactly at 8am on the 11th month part of my vacation process. The value rooms are not that bad, at least not the studios at AKV.
If you book right at the 08am mark then you have a good chance thats my experience.
The problem however is that often all the rooms are booked before 8am. Today the night of the 7th and 8th was already booked before the 8am mark, so even if you tried you couldnt get a room.
Then like Cyberg1978 said, you need to update your post to reflect that those 2022 points were banked into 2023.Hey they banked them and I clarified with the broker that I have until July 31 2024 to use it
