I think posts have been deleted so I am incredibly lost right now.

The data shows that we have in fact been in an expansion since 2020. It's misleading though as GDP is a measure of output. We closed everything down in 2019, causing a tidal wave of supplier challenges. Things have started to return to normal from the supply side, which is why we have expanded.Isnāt it shown in the data?
So you feel pretty confident that this is self explanatory?
Agree, Iāve spent a lot of time in the controversial section lately. lol
you should not be including costs that you are not paying for.$3328 includes purchase price plus closing plusā24 dues and admin fees. Seller is paying admin fees of $225. Closing is not cheap for a small contract.
do you use the string tool? or there isn't 2025 points on this? so 2024 Annual Dues $1526.85, leaving closing at a big $848.15. Those fees add up!mgeologist---$49-$8990-135-HHI-June-0/23, 270/24, 135/26- sent 3/7
Chili327---$120-$3726-25-AKV-Jun-0/22, 0/23, 0/24, 25/25- sent 3/7

Chili327---$89-$5000-50-BRV@WL-Jun-0/22, 0/23, 0/24, 50/25- sent 3/4
Should have held out for better deals in my favor on both, but I figured what the heck. lol

That was the plan, since i paid $99, and had it listed at $115 and $109, the plan was to take offers of $100 or more. Technically I'm not even really sure what the price was per point, but according to the math it was $89. lol ($5k total)I could have sworn you mentioned selling that one for more than you paid. But maybe I dreamt that. My memory is seriously crap.
Wish I'd bought your contract instead of the 50pt one I bought last month. Could have saved me $550.![]()
Brokers Commission.I've obviously never been on the seller side of things. What types of fees does the seller have to pay exactly?
As the buyer on our 50pt contract, our closing costs were about $550. We obviously didn't owe any annual dues since the contract doesn't have points until 2025 (I think it was literally identical to what you sold.)
Today I was promised by https://magicvacationtitle.com/ to get the docs by the end of Monday, March 11th... we passed ROFR on February 29th. So it'll be 11 days from passing to just getting the docs.I made the mistake of letting the board sponsor route me to Magic Vacation Title for closing. It's been five days since passing ROFR and no docs yet. Today when I asked to make sure I hadn't missed the docs they said it would take 14 business days to receive my closing docs. I imagine they meant "up to" but come on, why don't they prep the docs in advance for timely turn around like everyone else? Won't make that mistake next time and I recommend everyone remember they get to pick their settlement agent.
Who has two thumbs and is impatient? This guy.
Did they say why it was delayed 11 days. The last deal I did with them they had the closing docs to me within 24 hours.Today I was promised by https://magicvacationtitle.com/ to get the docs by the end of Monday, March 11th... we passed ROFR on February 29th. How is that company in business? Other settlement companies could easily be closed and recorded in 11 days by the time we just receive our docs. I can only imagine the pace they'll have on setting a closing date and recording.
PSA reminder: You can pick your settlement company. It does *not* have to be the one the broker company prefers. (kickbacks are a heck of a drug)
No reasons were provided. I had to ask several times to get an ETA at all. I kept getting a canned copy & paste response that they'd have it to me within 3 weeks (14 business days, specifically - and who says that #? why not 14 days or 10 business days? 14 business days is odd).Did they say why it was delayed 11 days. The former is profiting directly through the recommendation and use of the latter. To clarify, DVC Resale Market and Magic Vacation Title are owned by the same company, World of DVC.
This is not a kickbacks situation
