Buyer pays closing and dues on the remaining 169 -15 points

Does not matter for us but sad for our buyers!

Happy to finally be on this thread after 5 years of looking. This is our first attempt. I do not think it is an awesome deal, however they are paying the 2015 MFs for all the points so I think that works out to be $79 per point in the end. We also wanted the points for a June trip and should get the points right at the 7 month mark Hopefully the price point is too high for Disney!

WOW...now I'm worried we are awaiting to hear on the contract we purchased for SSR. I thought the likelihood of being taken was low, but maybe not so much now. Wish I knew what they looked for in these decisions.

It took me a reread to realize that you were the sellers- so instead of commiserating, I should congratulate you, as apparently the process is super speedy for getting your funds when Disney buys your contract !

I think this is actually a really, really good deal if they are covering the current year MF and especially considering that VWL contracts are few and far between right now! Good luck !

Congrats on your first accepted offer, and I really hope this goes through for you! We just passed ROFR on a GVC purchase which is our first purchase, wishing you the same!

It does go pretty quickly - Disney notified us of the purchase on 7/13 and we had their closing documents 4 days after that. Sent them back on the 20th (they sent prepaid FedEx envelope) and they said it could close as soon as August 8.​

Well I'm Swedish my english needs some improvement! Good to hear that Disney works fast! We also have sold a 75 p BCV contract and that process has taken more than 2 ½ month. It's closed now but we have not recieved the funds yet.

Our first contract:

The price point is higher than average, but most of the other available contracts were stripped so we thought it was worth it. Still hoping we might be able to use points in November if all goes smoothly, hate the thought of points expiring.
