**ROFR Thread 2015 July-December** Please read 1st post for instructions

Wow! Disney is super busy with all the ROFR's lately! Just when you think they have been letting everything go through....seems like they had a round of this about 6 months or so ago. Wonder if they like to put the fear in everyone a couple times a year to keep us all on pins and needles? Sorry for everyone that has lost their contracts recently.

Thank you! It was such a gutt punch feeling when he called, being first timers it was not a familiar feeling at all.
BUT, we are back in the game again, I just can't post yet as it hasn't been sent for ROFR

It is for sure an awful feeling, especially when others have bought a couple of dollars less per point Who knows how they figure out who passes and which ones to take? Well, they do LOL
I was almost scared to try again because you start dreaming about when you can go and all fun stuff ahead of time. We did get back in for a 2nd round, now the dreaded 30 day wait as soon as it is sent off for ROFR.

We cancelled it this morning and went DVC Direct for OKW Ext. No more 30 day wait not knowing if pass or taken.

Yes $135 per point and it is more I know then the resale but at least we know we will be DVC owners at the place we love to stay
Just can't do another 30 days of "what if" :/

And the extended is valued at $15/pt, so you can look at it as paying that much less . Congrats!

Thanks And now we know why they use the ROFR, catch 22 really but now we only have to wait 3-4 weeks and be in.

I have no idea why Disney passes on some contacts and takes others, there does not seem to be any rhyme or reason to it at all.
