The TV commercials show everyone on the ride screaming at the top of their lungs.
The ride is relatively mild. It is no more intense than the tea cups

LOL, I think the intense part depends on your point of view. I will tell Threeboysmom you said it was no more intense than the tea cups....
And when I see the commercial you mention, I think, boy are they pandering to the kids. As if any adult would be afraid of a ride like... "oh sorry hon', I didn't mean you...." (DW just came in)
In a way I agree with you. All you do is go around, and around, and around, and.... oh yeah, around. So in that respect it is. As DW reminds me... "just because you don't feel the tiniest bit of fear, doesn't mean its not scary". Some people are scared of water even when it is only 3" deep.
DW now loves TOT. Took her 3 years to work up to it... then we rode it 11 times in a row. Then they changed it and it took her another year to work up the courage to go on it again.
Fear is as they say "all in the mind". For some people it just occupies more space than others. (adn for some it is easier to fill that space....
So to all you nervous, fearful, motion sick, weak knee'd, disers out there... bear down and try it. The most you have to lose is your lunch.... :happy1:
