Also....just a friendly reminder that this is a Disney cruise and that we are here to be respectful of the diversity that is not only shown throughout the cruise ship but also to our fellow DISmeets people as well. So lets please be respectful of one another as we enjoy our Disney vacation and please don't hesitate to sign up for our "DISmeets" (social gethering) and "Fish Extender" (secret gift exchange).
The Dismeets is open for all DISsers of all ages as yes, I welcome suggestions for times and locations. Normally, the DISmeets is held on day one of the cruise. ME? well...I would suggest to have it in the evening, but again before I get specific, I would rather hear from you.
The FisH Extender (secret gift exchange) is also open for all people to sign up for as well....yes - including adults. On my Disney Wonder cruise in Jan 2009, I received some pretty cool FE gifts so don't hesitate to jump in and get signed up.

Nice to meet you as well. Nope, I think this will be our 8th or 9th Disney cruise. We have done several Eastern and 2 Western cruises and 3 4 day cruises. Our last cruise was in February of 2008.

We decided to wait until our daughter was a bit older before going back on the cruise so that she could use the clubs and decided that a 10 day cruise made more sense than another back to back.

Of course my whole problem with this plan is now we won't be going back to WDW until 2011. Luckily we are only a short flight away from DLR and will be making a couple of short trips down there next couple of years.

....glad to meet the two of you. Me? Well, I just departed from the Disney Wonder January 15th (after a fantastic 4 day land & 4 day sea vacation into the land of the Mouse) and if you want, feel free to read my trip report listed under DCL trip reports (there is a yellow smiley face just to the left of the trip report title).
I had a total blast being a solo traveler and looking forward to celebrating my birthday on the Disney Magic (December 30th) next year .

Just booked this cruise last night. We'll be in a Cat 3 (I think #8046) but hoping and trying to move to our usual midship if there's a cancellation.

We never have fun NYE plans anymore so we're excited about this cruise. Surely it will be better than watching the ball drop on TV!

Nice to meet ya'll. Wow, there are way too many days until this vacation! DW and I are planning a couple of trips to DL to break up the wait.

Tinknsnow, DW, DD and I have one of those midship Cat 3's. Sorry, don't think we will be canceling. lol. We are in 8032. Only way we would give it up is if DCL wanted to upgrade us to the Walt Suite.

But yensidfan, that's OUR room! It's okay. It's always nice to try new things. I hope they bump you up to the Walt, though. That could work out nicely for us both.

We love DL, BTW! I prefer it to WDW's Magic Kingdom-- by far. Space Mountain, Mr Toad, and the Matterhorn are the greatest! I even like the Alice & Pinocchio rides.

Actually, we were in 8046 on the Wonder last February. It was a nice room but we are looking forward to trying the mid-ship category 3.

....this cruise is already going to be quite a blast!
But....before this, I have an 7-day DCL vacation booked (Oct 31st 2009) but with a pre-day at Disney's Caribbean Beach Hotel. Looking forward to going back to MK and ACTUALLY seeing some of the things I didn't get a chance to see last month (like a fireworks show,etc). So life has me just a little busy scheduling things for this upcoming trip. Rest assured though if anyone of you wanna hang around someone who just gets into "all things Disney," look no further as I am a bundle of energy. So much that a CM on the Wonder told me that I would make the perfect CM and asked me to submit a resume. GOTTA LOVE IT! - Anywho - glad to see we are begining to get more of us to come on aboard.
Feel free to give me a holler if any of you are interetsed in participating in the "Fish Extenders" gift exchange. Same with a "Meet & Greet" as I don't mind beginning to compile a list.
Been real - gotta go....hey its 2am and where are my key lime cookies?????
And lest we not forget.... ya gotta have a margarita with those cookies! YUM!

Something about New Years Eve and Rockin would be cool. Of course the last time I think I made it to midnight on New Years Eve was 1999 !

Wishing I was in the caribbean right now. Getting up to go the gym at 4:30 and it is below freezing here right now. Thinking a little colder than we are used to in the NW. We are ready for Spring.
