Actually this will be my first marathon so I am going for a personal best of just finishing.
I am going to run a half-marathon in January 2010 to build up which is why this cruise just had perfect timing.
I have run mostly 8 and 10k's but haven't even done those in a long while. At that time my personal best was a 7:35 mile. If I can make a pace of a 14:30 for the marathon I think I will be happy.
My Father is an Ultra-marathon runner so I will be getting plenty of input from him. I am going to see him this weekend for Easter and tell him what my plans are which I am pretty sure when I do he will be on the phone 30 seconds later booking himself a room at WDW so that he can run it with me.
